Early days and hard to gauge much after 8 games and only 20% of the way into the season but it tells a story. They have widened the gap between them and the rest of the pack and whether they've narrowed the gap to us remains to be seen but early stats are concerning. They are not only 2 points ahead but have scored 4 goals more conceding 2 less thus have a better goal difference of 6. As I said it's early days and how much it actually tells us who knows but they're ahead in every department points, goals for goals against and goal difference. Doesn't make for pleasant reading.

They have also played 5 home games compared to our 3. If we aren't top by a few come feb/ march then start worrying.

JFP. I'm not making light of the stats you give, but there is the stat that Sevco have had 5 of their 8 matches at home whereas 5 of our 8 games have been away.
Where I get frustrated with us is in the way we start games away from home, I think we need to start a lot quicker and not let teams settle in against us. Once they settle in against us and gain a bit of confidence these awkward pitches and surroundings mean it's difficult to raise our game the later the match goes on.
I would like to see us start a lot quicker try and win games early on and then ease up if they have to.

Well put JFP, i for one do not think we will romp this, l think they will run us close unless we bring in quality in January.

JFP can't dispute your stats as they are a fact however if you looked at the stats a couple of weeks ago, before the last two league games all of the stats quoted were in Celtic's favour. It is, according to me, too early in the season to make much of these stats as they can change from week to the next.
