With us now having an embarrassment of riches and various options at centre half should Ajer be played in a CDM which I believe was his position before Roland turned him into a centre half which should should be happening the other way around potentially at the end of his career and not the start. The laddie is a football player.

I think big Kris can play in most defensive positions very comfortably and his height, pace, forward 'bursts' and tackling could be utilized in midfield if the need arose.
