Fellow posters.

In your opinion is David Turnbull good enough for Celtic?

I think he is an exciting prospect, that we should go for.

No one is good enough for Celtic, that's why Scott Allan never got enough games, that's why they pussyfooted about giving Hibs what they wanted for John McGinn, (well, you know, he won't be able to get in our midfield) , that's why Rogic can walk back into the team, when he isn't (for whatever reason) , performing, Scott Brown is injured, suspended or whatever it was, he is out of the side, the team plays it's best football of the season, but when Scott is available again, he walks right back into the team, this has to change, pick the players that make the best team, that play the best football, not this loyalty rubbish, Lustig is not good enough anymore, neither is Brown, coming of the bench, maybe, that's all.

Scott Allen didn't play because he is rotten.
We sent a better player to Hibs on loan then let him leave for pennies in Liam Henderson.

I actually think ypu make a good point in there Aindoh about Brown. Dropping Brown is the big question. In the past we'd looked really short without him but this season when he was out we looked much better. Much more dynamic and the ball was getting moved forward a lot more. As long as we're 'hanging on' to playing Scott Brown in the middle I don't see a place for Turnbull with McGregor. As much as I would have liked to see him play more, and possibly even replace Brown, if we off-loaded Kouassi and Bitton, bringing Turnbull in would be a good little trim in the middle. I really can't see Brown leaving this summer but I wouldn't oppose it. Brown, McGregor, Ntcham (or relacement) , Christie, Turnbull would be good for me.

I’m a massive Brown fan but there’s no doubting Celtic played their best football when McGregor and Christie played in the middle. High energy and moving the ball at pace.

Nonsense Scott Brown is our captain and is needed to help deliver the 10.

Yes sign the lad from Motherwell but let it be known he will have to challenge for his place. Broony mcgregor and Christie will be there stating their cases already.

The bat is right Allen was guff.

JimTim I agree we played some nice football last season during the spell broony was injured but for me you still need his leadership experience and drive to deliver further success.

Keep in mind he didn't stroll back into the team at the expense of McGregor, Christie or Rogic who all played very well in his absence.

If I remember correctly all 3 of the above were out injured at the same time and for a number of games we played with Brown, Biton and Henderson.

Browns performance improved (took him a few games after coming back to get back up to speed) and then for the remainder of the season was in the team as Rogic, Christie, McGregor and Ntcham were never all fit at the same time.

Cannot remember a season so injury hit in my 30 years supporting the hoops.

Enrico, I'd certainly keep him around. Like you say his leadership and character are important. He's not totally done either - there will be certain games where a player like him is important. But players don't last forever and any manager worth their salt is ruthless. It may be time to start phasing him out.
