Anyone who thinks we are progressing is blind to the facts we have played well in two league games this season ( Dundee Utd and Ross County) we have been awful in Europe and only in the league cup have we looked the part. Our two most experienced players could leave for a very little in January (Brown and Commons) VVD could also be gone then. The loan signings have been a waste of time ( Guddetti excepted) I know some will point to Denayer but our defending is very poor
We could also lose Johansen in the near future and what is left is average
Serious surgery is needed at all levels if we are too improve for next season two new central defenders ( Jonathan Mensah John Anthony Brooks Andreas Jonnsen Kara Mbodj) a strong central mid (Ismael Diomande ) and a goal scoring poacher (Andrej Kramaric ) add some good Scotish players Pawlett GMS Armstrong and maybe Davidson and a left back and clear the dross out then maybe we can talk progress

Have you told Deila and Peter Lawwell, what they need to do. Waste of time telling us .

SERIOUSLY!, let me bet you you want lennon to stay? brown won't be sold in jan either will commons!!, our team is average, it was last season even after lennons spending spree at start of last season HE BOUGHT RUBBISH apart from VVD, never bought johnny russell bought balde, bought borrigeter never bought gauld or gms, the list goes on. I know some of the football hasn't been good this season but we are still in 4 comp.Ronny needs a break & a chance, if he wins the treble people will still moan. did any1 get on lennys back after his first season in charge which was pish out of europe 2 , out of league cup, lost to inverness to hand title to rangers , aye I forgot apparently lenny can walk on water so no1 cares

The deterioration in quality and standards has been going on for a long time with our best 'assets' being sold for huge profit and replaced by cheaper, often inferior options.
There is also too many injury prone players who have been kept far too long as they are clearly unable to reproduce the form and standards initially shown.
Right now we have a real struggle on our hands to retain our title, compete in domestic cups and progress in Europe with arguably the most limited squad in a decade packed with loan signings managed by an untried boss.
The passion (and relief) shown at the end of the game yesterday showed me that these guys care and even though they have their limits and have not yet reached full capacity - they will give it their all and the supporters will appreciate that.
If performances improve and we continue to progress in all competitions, then the pressure is on the board to back RD properly with funds to further improve the team.

Jonace, you are a sevconian sounding guy! As the other guys have said, we are still in 4 trophies, different style of football, but getting better, lot of new systems, training, plus new management team, and some new players, these things take time, that we have got at moment, the support and board should back big ronny(the mad dancer!) and reap benefits for years to come.

To be fair the league would have been won that season if Samaras hadn't missed a penalty against Rankers to win the game

6.) 10 Nov 2014
Your having a laugh eh? Give the guy a chance, he's here with a plan to change the club from top to bottom.January will be interesting and I think the board need to back him.Posting that nonsense the day after a battling win at Aberdeen is ridiculous.

What I cannot understand is how some posters expect Celtic to survive if we didn't sell our good players who want away and replace them by inferior players . We cannot raise enough money to play at a reasonable level without profit in the transfer market . Successive clubs all over the world that are unfortunate not to play in leagues with large Tv and sponsorship money all do this .
It's important to note that our better players who demand a move, have improved beyond recognition during their spell with us and that is why we can get a good transfer fee and profit .

To say we've been awful in Europe is ridiculous , we're 2nd in the group and are very unlucky not to be 1st, we are top of the league , ok I'll give you that we have under performed but Delia has the task of putting the fire back into Celtic just like Lennon did the only difference is that Lennon was an Ex Celt which already gained his backing. We've struggled against teams the same calibre as Salzburg and Zagreb before and to have 8 points so far is brilliant. Have faith in Delia he hasn't disappointed me yet so far

Football is always a matter of opinions . Some people are glass half full types and some are glass half empty . No Celtic manager will please all the Celtic supporters all the time . Deila certainly had the away supporters last Sunday on his side big time .
