Hi ed. Iv been working with the guys at whattodoinreykjavik.is to try n help fellow tims out who want to come for the game. The guys have 10ish apartments available that sleep around 5/6 each. Also they have a hall available that they want to turn into a tic fanzone with celtic songs and videos playing all day and drink for sale. Its a good shout as bars abd hotels are expensive as here. The boys are trying to gauge interest so if anybodies looking for a good deal on a place to crash or just somewhere to hang about wi fellow tims before kick off then get at me asap. Reykjaviks pretty dissapointing on the randan btw so the fans hall idea is a peach

I'm sure I read somewhere that local draft lager will cost you between £3.50 to £7 a pint, but imports are extortionate. More in the £10-12 region?!

I was over about 15 years ago, and it was working out at about a tenner in our money for a pint, - and that was the cheapest. The whole of Scandinavia is expensive, but Iceland seemed to be the worst.

Its about 5 bar a pint at the minute. they mostly get a cargo here then got to the boozer at 11/12pm. that's why the boys at this company are trying to sort out a big hall for the fans to hang about in. its means they can sell cans n stuff like that. also they ain't that big on daytime or weekday sessions here so geez everybody somewhere to have a swally n a chant without any grief
