alright all. long time reader blah etc.
anyway I have lived in iceland for the last 3 years, (im sure 007 will confirm my isp) and by all accounts from the local boys, the new icelandic signing is quite a good swoop. he's highly rated over here and fully expected to make the national first team asap. I know a lot of players her in or about the top leagues and the attitude is first class. these guys are desperate to play first team football and would rip your arm off for our training facilities etc

Early days surely? lads only been with the club for few months. Maybe a notts county type loan may be his progression route.

Don't think the loan route is the right way, he was a first team regular in Ukrania, and has played for the national team in a friendly, maybe he is just not settling in, or is homesick, or might be a language barrier thing, think a few games in the first team would be more beneficial to him than sending out on loan, he is a talent.

I always thought that paddy should have been on the last half hour of every game, especially if we were a few up. He'd have entertain all us and have got a few fans off wee Gordon's back.

lovin the response after that game. last week it was all rd has had it by christmass and today its the best we've ever seen celtic play. jeezo man. does anybody just support the team anymore without getting suicidal after a bad result. aye the legia results where p""h but f"ck me, new manager just in, total change of style and zxero signings before hand. it was hardly a shocker. I thought from the get go that rd has a goo vision for celtic and its about freakin time we were dragged into the 21st century football wise

I see what your saying but I think most frustrations are that we have brought a new manager in and failed to back him
2.) 6-1? Just checked the official results and it was 4-1 away and 3-0 home win. Celtic qualified on goals away rule. Sorry, could not resist it but you are quite right, we were well beaten lol

6-1 over two legs against Legia wasn't a shocker.
It was a total fekkin shambles of an embarrassment. If it had been a boxing match the referee would have stopped the fight and the promoter would have given the crowd their money back.
Yesterday's performance against DU was excellent but let's not get carried away and think all the problems have been fixed in a week.
4.) Since he arrived I've been impressed with rd, the way he speaks about the games, players, his vision, the way he conducts himself in interviews, his honest appraisells in interviews, we knew the cl ties where very early and most people thought we could get caught out in them( but a resut like that was coming with this squad as they rode their luck a good few times under lenny) but not only has rd had to go into these games straight from pre season while assessing and getting to know his squad, but without funds for players.so even if we don't get past Maribor who are a decent outfit, I've seen enough to believe we shoudnt be sacking him and to let him find his feet and continue his vision for our future .
5.) Bobby I haven't come across many promotor who have halted fights and less who have given money back to the punters .
6.) It was me who said that yourman, not bobby. I was using it as a way to say we were atrocious. It wasn't meant literally mate.

right bhoys and ghirls. the game is on the 15th in reykjavik. the guys at whattodoinreykjavik are bursting their arse to get the cheapest accomodation and a meeting area for hoops fans. if your coming over for it then they are your best bet. honestly iv lived ere for 4 years and know the guys well. they reallly do want the best for the fans coming over. its pretty easy to spend a fortune here
iv only been putting the info on here as its the main forum but if its not for you guys ill stick it up on a few other places

Aye hamiltionbhoy. importsd are painfull but the local draft all comes in about 5.5% and is mostly sugar. steaming rapid monster sore heid the next day
Its about 5 bar a pint at the minute. they mostly get a cargo here then got to the boozer at 11/12pm. that's why the boys at this company are trying to sort out a big hall for the fans to hang about in. its means they can sell cans n stuff like that. also they ain't that big on daytime or weekday sessions here so geez everybody somewhere to have a swally n a chant without any grief
