Hey Ed. Have you heard anything concrete about our interest in Rob Holding? A few stories are saying we're in talks with Arsenal. Seems a strange one for £8m as he's more comfortable at RCB and he won't be dislodging CCV from the team.

{Ed007's Note - This story linking Celtic with Holding originated on a Twitter account from Mali with 49 followers, it was then picked up by a Nigerian account with circa 4300 followers.
Holding is obviously available and Celtic will know that, imo if anything he will be on a list of possibilities or maybes, I've not heard anything from anyone reliable that there's any truth in the stories.}

the big question is mark would you sign him. i think he would be a good signing.

{Ed007's Note - I think he would be a good signing as well, John but not at the prices being bandied about, surely for £8 million plus the wages to an ex-Pub League player we could get a bit more bang for our bucks.}

He would be ok in the league but he isn't any better than ccv or starfelt. I would hope we would be targeting someone better. But if we do sign him I'd pay 2/ 3 million at most.

We are supposedly still looking at the Belgian boy who was at Chelsea meant to be the next van dijk 6ft5 and good with the ball at his feet 3-4 million 19 years old.
