Its amazing to think we have bought one centre half this window and will have to buy at least one more . In my opinion over the last couple of years we seemed to buy a number of what appeared at the time to be quite good centre halves, Eric, Boyota, Jozo and young Ajer but really apart from Ajer, who we are still not sure about and maybe Boyata who we are less sure about, they haven't progressed. Buying players can be such a gamble.

Erik is the best centre half we half imo. but unfortunately he had to play beside efe in the early BR days. an injury has stopped him changing opinion.

If u think that lump of wood is our best cb, then it shows how much we are lacking quality in the cb postion.

I cannot agree that Erik is out best CH, bhoy1der. I don't even think he's our third best. Flustered and nervy far too easily, gets pulled about and bullied too much for my liking and struggles with pacy forwards. Nice big guy, but I think Ajer is already far better than Erik. HH🙂.

have to agree. met and chatted with him several times and he is a decent guy. For BRs system he is too wee, too slow, his bottle and desire went a long time ago. Best thing for him is to move on now and start again after us blocking so many of his transfers in the past. Best of luck to him and I'm sure he will do a turn for another team somewhere.
