Does anyone think Maeda could do a job as a full back? He'd be a nightmare to be up against and let's be honest, he's not the most reliable going forward. Can't argue with his work rate.

Missing Hatate is brutal because he’s so versatile.

Hatate can play either fullback position and I’m sure he would’ve been left back tonight if he was available.

Hatate was MOTM at right back, when Celtic won there 4-0 last season.

I agree we're missing Hatate, Buzz, but I'm talking about Maeda. Also I think Hatate is wasted a bit at full back as his vision and creativity really allows Kyogo to flourish.

I’m sure Maeda would be useful as a wing back but he would be wasted as a fullback in a flat back 4.
