What about Giorgos Giakoumakis as a striker option for January.
Currently plays for Atlantic United in the states, big strong athletic and a proven goal scorer.
I think he would do well in our league and suits Brendan's style better then Kyogo.

I am sorry, I have to disagree with u, it isn’t necessary that the league doesn’t suit him, but the refs and VAR operators have a particular dislike to seeing anyone playing for Celtic standing up to opponents. As it was the last time free kick and a card against Celtic is the shout, every time he nears an opponent.
Refs and VAR operators in Scotland are trained different by Dallas and Crawford Allan, trained as true blues.

Giakoumakis played Sevco 5 times and was undefeated with a 12-4 Aggregate scoreline.
He was booked 3 times in those games.

Giakoumakis was also booked 3 times in 5 games that John Beaton was his referee in Scotland.

Quite a few cautions, considering Giakoumakis seldom played the full 90 minutes whilst at Celtic.

GG also could not get out our club quick enough. yes he's a good player but had absolutely no stomach for a fight to get his place in the team. I get it that folks will come on here and say Ange preferred kyogo and Ange drove him out. But fact is he was willing to go ANYWHERE to get out of celtic, hence why he's ended up in MLS backwater to see out his career in his late 20s. Not for me.

DRB, the last Manager did exactly the same but we don't hear a lot of complaints about him.

It may be because he left at end of season but GG left as that Manager didn't fancy him as our main striker and his ego needed massaging, so an American team offered him lots of cash and off he ran.

Jota went on holiday and a man offered his agent a big bag of cash, so he went to play in front of 5000 a week, or in Jotas case, 5001 as he watched from the bench.

What would prevent them from doing the same as soon as another club opened their wallet.

Neither was very loyal to the club.

Our current Manager, I agree, did the same but he brought us a lot of success, so deserved his shot, probably more than Ange as he was here for such a short time.

BR is back, he was the best choice at the time and deserves a chance to turn this around. But he needs to board to back him properly. They did it last time, so we are in an even better position to do so.

I want fresh faces in, players of quality with experience, not guys who want to be loved and paid over the odds.

It is likely GG left because Ange didn’t give him the game time he felt he earned However another reason possibly for him leaving was the bias referees who wouldn’t let him off with any contact with defenders without waving yellow card
What annoyed GG most was defenders got away bad tackle after bad tackle without GG even getting a free.
