Ed I always respect your opinion. Do you think Ange is away? I for one can't understand why he'd go to a club where he could be sacked in a matter of weeks.

{Ed007's Note - There has been no contact with Celtic from Spurs as they have another candidate they want to appoint before they would approach Celtic to speak to Ange.
There is a long way to go before Ange might be offered the Spurs job so no mate, I don't think Ange is away because as of right now he doesn't have the option to go anywhere.}

Thanks Ed. Do you think he will accept the job if offered? It will be hard to turn it down simply because a few bad results in Scotland and you lose the league and his chance might be gone. Hope I’m wrong and he commits to a longer term contract. I think it’s one or the other after the cup final.

{Ed007's Note - A few bad results in England and his job might be gone, Marty, there's a reason Spurs are what, down at their 5th & 6th options now and I think Ange would be crazy to take that job. AP isn't going to get anywhere near the input & power he has at Celtic, even signings won't be down to him and unless Spurs have taken on a MASSIVE change of direction the players will decide if Ange is up to the job if he takes it, Harry Kane would probably have more of a say on signings and the club's direction than Ange would. I agree with you Marty btw, I think DD and mini DD were over here to offer Ange a long term contract and with the guarantees that he will be backed by the board both financially and visionary wise. A good showing in the CL and Europe and who knows where he would get offers from next season. I also don't think Ange's ultimate dream is the Pub League, he's been all over the world working and might see Germany, Spain or even Italy as his preferred option. The Spurs job would raise his profile and raise his bank balance to incredible levels but to what end, would Ange last to Christmas if Spurs were in the bottom half of the league, would they accept a say 8th or 10th place finish in the league? I would honestly lose a lot of respect for Ange if he did take the Spurs job simply for the fact I think he could and should aim higher than that shitshow of a club.}

If you look at the Tottenham news 24/ 7 website, Ange is not mentioned on most articles. Most of the stories about this are of Scottish origin.
