How many times have we watched home games and wondered why so many empty seats?

I have written to Celtic several times suggesting they set up a portal where ST holders can make the seats available if they will be unable to attend home games - No reply as usual.

Other clubs have a great set-up for making unused seats available.

Excellent idea I read the Hearts article.

It’s a win-win for season ticket holders who can’t attend a particular game and for those looking for a ticket and for the club.

I suppose the club are thinking we get the money anyway so why go the bother but it would avoid empty seats and
appears to be done online and relatively painless for the club once once set up. No idea why Celtic wouldn’t consider doing it do you know what other clubs have?

The club won’t set up a ticket exchange as they want to maximise income from full price ticket, for most games it takes till last days before the game to sell out. So why would they take less of a cut for more set up and management costs? An obvious scenario is home cup matches Morton not sold out and st mirren not likely to sell out, How do you run an exchange with 15000 extra seats to sell first as not all season ticket holders are on home ticket scheme?

The reason the Paid seats are always included in our Official Attendance, will be for Tax reasons.

Good point TT, I’m based in Ireland and try to go to as many games as I can. Since C.V., that obviously stopped. This season every time I try to book tickets online I’m told sold out. Frustrating and disappointing appointment is an understatement. I spend for a Saturday home game nearly €1,000 for myself wife all in, on average.

I think the Celtic SLO, recently hinted that something could be put in place for next season.

I'm assuming Celtic have got to include every paid seat in their official Attendance figures for Tax reasons.
