Buzz you should think of putting a Paywall on your stats on here, as the Daily Ranger today are "highlighting"
the problems of the post season fixtures where Sevco will get an extra home game instead of an away fixture.
You told us all about this LAST WEEK.

Timalloy,
It was well known Celtic fan “Auldheid” that noticed it several weeks into the new season.
It is a total fudge up by the SPFL but they will probably blame it on the computer.
Their massive mistake was having Celtic play Away to Hearts twice before the split instead of Dundee.
The SPFL will now have this problem every season if Aberdeen, Hibs and Hearts get into the top 6.
The SPFL will probably need to change it in the future but they should wait until after next season and let Sevco play away to Celtic, Hibs, Hearts and Aberdeen 8 times before the split and Celtic can play those same clubs only 4 times before the split.

It doesn't take a super-computer to predict at least five of the top six in Scotland each year; so the 'random fixture' allocator can easily arrange post-split away games with a degree of certainty.

BuzzBomb10 the only way to solve the fixture unfairness is to do away with the split, as it serves no purpose whatsoever. The person or persons who came up with the idea should be not be involved in anything to do with football. Its supposed to be a level playing field but when you have to visit certain teams three times in a season where’s the fairness in that.

I like the split because it gives the mid table clubs something to play for.
Since Sevco came into the top flight in 2016/ 17 season, there hasn’t been an imbalance in fixtures involving Celtic and Sevco.
This season was a major blunder by the SPFL and it will need to be changed in the future but my argument is, it shouldn’t be changed until the 2023/ 24 season.
That would allow Celtic to possibly gain a fixture advantage next season, it’s only fair.

I read that if Livingston or Aberdeen finish above Dundee Utd then will will lose another home game after the split just wondering if the season ticket holders will get reimbursement for losing 2 games? If the do who will pay the spfl or the club.

That will be the super computer that gave us games against the top teams in between europa league games Whilst sevco got none of the top teams in between their euro games.

Ecky,
All clubs in the league will definitely play 19 home games and 19 away matches.
It looks like it will become complicated because the SPFL made a huge blunder with the fixture list.
Celtic will be forced to play one or two top 6 clubs away from home after the split for a 3rd time this season, to level up the 19 at home and 19 away games.
What will make it worse, the same club or clubs that will host Celtic for a 3rd time this season, will only play Sevco at home once, BUT will have to travel to Ibrox to play them for a 3rd time this season.
I hope that makes sense because it looks like when the split fixtures are announced in April, it will become a total shambles with only the Ibrox club benefiting.
