Stephen Welsh played only his 2nd game for Celtic back in the October C. V Derby match.
His first game was away to Hamilton in February 2020.
I said at the time he was our 6th choice CB behind Ajer, Jullian, Duffy, Bitton and Elhamad.
Only 9 months later and Welsh has become our first choice CB because he’s the only CB at Celtic guaranteed to be starting on Tuesday.

Disappointed that there has been no more talk of Nesbit, Ferguson, McCann or Hickey coming to the club.

That is good Scottish talent that we should be signing instead of these foreign players. I am not saying that these foreign players will be bad signings.

But at least we know what the above four players are capable of.

Isn't the deal for starfelt not complete? . I think / hope we'll see a couple of Japanese in aFter the Olympics . possibly too late for midtyland but OK for start of season. boruc . isn't mcann a foreigner.

Can Ferguson nisbett. ain't good enough for celtic. so get real we need decent first team players no bench warmers.

What planet are you on? Both of these players would walk into the Celtic team.

As I said before, they are the young Scottish talent that we should be signing instead of paying 5M for Ajeti.
