Couldnt sleep so was reading the banter etc on our site and also the rangers site and i got to thinking about this #55 boomerang that gets launched every year but doesn't quite make it and their claims to be the most successful club in the world etc and it just didn't sit well with my memories so to kill time i decided to look and see who were champions in the various years that i have been alive and it was interesting:i was born in 1960 so i started there so there have 58 titles won and believe it or not Celtic have been the most sucessful and in fact since i was born Celtic have the same number of titles as all the other clubs in Scotland put together 🤣🤣🤣

I was born in 64 so the people have 3 less and strike off Dundee. Still #30 though.

Always thought post-war results where a better indicator of success in football. The football landscape was more settled and established. Celtic on 30 titles and Rangers on 29. Anyway, the whole 55 thing is nonsense as they shared a title with Dumbarton. So before they died they finished as sole Champions on 53 occasions.

That shared title with Dumbarton was a farce. Dumbarton had scored more goals for and had a superior goal difference of 7. No VAR required here.

I always wondered as well how many titles did the oldco win in the 16 years they were playing before we came along so another good way I get at my zombie pals is always we will speak about success when your 16th anniversary comes along and our clubs have played the same amount of years in the league.
