Hi folks,

I'm a little concerned with our 3 French stars. MD hopefully will comeback asap and better the goals in. Edouard I thought wasn't really at it on Saturday, I think he's carrying an injury and needs rest, but the team needs a striker. Olivier being rumoured to have interest from Porto. It may just be SMSM with us, but we need a lift wee Leigh isn't cutting it just now either. I'm hoping for a result in Athens, but we need the ball moved quickly, not just side to side.

We have 4 "first team" strikers including Christie who played there during preseason plus we have youngsters like aitchison. Striker is the last position that we need strengthened.

To say Leighton isn't at it is wrong in my opinion. Strikers work on service. How many chances did he pass up. He had one half chance he turned into real chance cleared off the line. Don't really remember him passing up anything else which shows its a midfield to front problem. Nitcham playing will improve this issue.

Just for the record Rob, I'm not in anyway saying we need to buy a striker. I'm saying with Moussa injured, big Eddy looking injured and Wee Leigh not at it it's a concern for the start of the season. We need them fit and flying. Kwaj sorry mate love wee Leigh but how long has he been waiting to score the 2 to get to 100? I agree that not a lot of creation at tynecastle though. That's why I added we need speed of attack not tippy happy side to side, this allows others to get back.

We also need to improve our threat at set pieces.

I don't know much about Hector but I think he did a job on Rangers18.
