Last night's performance a big boost for us all.
Average age must be coming down also.
To me it looks like our transfer policy is moving up a level with higher risk outlays for the next generation of potential mega-millions players

You can see why Edouard needs game time for BR to make a £7 million decision at the summer.

With Edouard featuring so prominently, sometimes to the neglect of more obvious starters, I wonder if there isn't something more to the initial agreement than we're heard about--a stipulation about playing time, or a lower end-of-season transfer fee.

Saying that, he does look like a more substantial prospect after last night's run out.

Cavalcanti that’s the problem with half the guys on here, one game he looks like a 7m prospect the next he’s not worth it at all. Fickle game by game opinions rather than evaluating an opinion based on a period of time and it’s ridiculous to suggest that PSG would give us a lower fee for playing Edouard more!? What benefit would the gain from such a clause?

The price will be the price. If he continues in the same vein as last night, he will be well worth that kind of money when you consider how much players with less potential are going for down south.

It's up to the boy to show that kind of performance regularly and if he does then he will be well worth that fee.

I think Rodgers has played Edouard for a few reasons. First, both Griffiths and Dembele have been injured this season and have been back on the treatment table not long after returning. So Rodgers probably giving him game time to try and manage the other striker's injuries. Secondly, Dembele has been well below par most games this season, so Rodgers probably giving Edouard a run out to see if he could do better. Thirdly, he may just be doing better in training than the other two.
