I'd be wary of loaning Christie back to Aberdeen as part of the Hayes deal since Del Boy's talking to Sunderland. I don't like the idea of a new manager coming in and Christie spending the season in the bench if he doesn't fancy him.

I wouldn't worry too much about Christie as it is obvious that he doesn't feature highly in Brendan Rodgers future plans .
We have better training facilities and a better team of coaches, no matter who is appointed as Aberdeen manager and coaching team . The reason we loan out most players is to give them a better chance of getting another club .

Thats nonsense! Any professional will tell you nothing beats first ream football. Christie is not at a stage yet where he will break into the starting line up and would stagnate on the bench. As another poster put it Henderson is a perfect example as he has been unable to dislodge Brown or Armstrong. If your theory was correct we loaned him out last year. and then loan him out for full season when we could sell him now makes no sense at all.

Tempo88 . Could you list all the players at Celtic who have returned from loans this century to have successful careers at Celtic . We have loaned out over 100 players and I can recall two Miller and McGregor ( there are probably a few more ) but not many .
A professional may prefer an actual match but why should Celtic have such a large squad of coaches, some of the best in Britain, best gym equipment etc and yet send players away and not let them avail and create players for lesser quality Scottish sides and English Div 1&2.
