Another Ex Player coming out and bashing the league standard - John Guidetti. Says he didn't want to stay at Celtic as he didn't like the non competition in the league. Find that really interesting as he only scored 15 goals on 35 games 😂! Maybe if the guy did less talking and more gym time he would look less like a teletubbie.

Cant really fault him tbh mick, think that's why all our players leave imo, league isn't the best but the set up is worse, can't wait till the sfa develop a braincell, might have a half decent league then.

Michael is right, he hardly set the heather on fire, don't even know what league he is now. Too many folk bash our game, look at the EPL is that value for money, is that even a competitive league, how can we expect anyone to respect our league when no one here has a good thing to say about it.

{Ed007's Note - Guidetti is at Celta Vigo now and played, well he was on the pitch, against Man Utd last night. Last season he managed 12 goals in 43 apps for them and this season he's at 8 goals in 37 games.
Another waster with his trendy beard and loads of tattoos who should be playing at a much higher level if he would only apply himself and work harder at being a better player rather than working on his image.}

What is it way runts and tattoos? My old irish grandfather would have LEATHERED any of us had we got a tattoo

Surely all that ink about your skin system cannot be good for you?

Now its trendy for females to get them? Have you seen the scheme "burdz" in there 50s with the bingo wings and there tattoo's Christ! They give you the BOAK!

Nobody realise you need to have them surgically removed?

Then you get the fud with the one round his neck area!

Your right ed, then you hear stories about top players going to china cause they're getting offered £650k per wk, surely to god they have enough money and want the prestige of wining European cups, or 1 of the top league medals, most of us would give anything to be in there position the &@"") ! 😁.

{Ed007's Note - There's a hell of a lot players out there that will play anywhere for money. They worry more about how many cars or fancy watches they have than where their team is in the league.}

Agree Ed re Greedeti.

{Ed007's Note - I can never understand players who don't give it everything, look after yourself, train properly and follow expert advice - chances are these people know best or at least better than you and the rewards are mind boggling.
I've said it for years on here, Celtic might never produce a player of Ronaldo's quality or ability but thers is no reason that every single Celtic player can't be as fit as him or push themselves to those limits. We were all talking about Rooney yesterday, imagine the player he would be if he had trained and worked as hard as Ronaldo.}

Guidetti looks to be very cumbersome and has no pace. He has found his level and his lot.

Ed the problem is the culture in this country, drink wise and image as u said, a hope Rodgers can convince the young lads coming through that there'll be plenty of time to kick the arse out it when your finished wae fitba. It's a short career that's easily pissed up against a wall. The young ones want to spend a month in a real job to see how easy they've got it. A know guys (not me) that put a shift in then hit the gym for an hour or two just to get fit, these lads get paid to play the game they love then don't put the hours in to make themselves better, makes me sick to see them get upwards per week what a normal Joe gets in a year if he's lucky.
