£4m now been offered now for Gordon. I know he has his critics but I do like him but £4m for a 34 year old is a no brainer for me. Cash in now as we shouldn't need him to meet our targets this season even with devries and Bailey not being good enough. If we can't get a quick keeper in before deadline spent the next 5 months or so scouting for a top young keeper.
The only reservations I have about selling him is not getting a replacement in this window to blend him in for the CL qualifiers in the summer.
Thoughts?

I agree mate, considering what we paid for him I would take it

If you look at the fees that get paid for a top class goalkeeper in their thirties its well in excess of what chelsea is offering,34 is no age for a goalkeeper

not enough, keepers tend to play well at this age and who is better for the money, i'd rather he stayed but if not i think a bit more money is required.

We have a better chance of an unbeaten treble with Gordon in the side. I'd definitely get more satisfaction out of telling Chelsea to get tae with 3 trophies in the bag rather than have £4 million for him.

{Ed007's Note - That's my take on it too, unless we have a quality replacement to come in before Tuesday our best bet in goal to land the treble is Gordon.}
