MSM, just watching a documentary and Med me think about how we should take the media. Times magazine was and is recognised throughout the world and it was considered some prestige to be mentioned in its publication.
In 1939 the Times 'Man of the Year' was one Adolf Hitler!
Pretty much sums the media in general fir me.

That's an American publication and America didn't come into the war till the 40's and only because of Japan bombing pearl harbour. So he probably would have been there man of the year as he didn't do anything to America.

It was 1938, before war broke out. He had done an amazing job rebuilding Germany at that point and was doing a lot to keep peace in Europe at the time, that's why he received the recognition. People soon changed their opinions of him though, as history shows.
