Toure a good decent stop gap. will bring a wealth of big match experience and a cool calculated set of shoulders where at present it is needed most. Also will give team time to sort out this area whilst challenging on all fronts.

i can see the big man strolling this league for a few yrs TTTS, the fact that he chose us over the ludicrous amounts of dosh he couldve got in china tells me he's here for a challenge.

Yes, Toure and Sciatchenko should be good enough against Astana and the Prem. Hopefully if Jozo can get fit we'll have the CB position fairly strong.

Kevbhoy do you think he will go straight I'm the team for Wednesday seeing as he has had no pressure season?

I think that Rodgers has decided that jozo and chenko will be our main two defenders when fit with toure covering. Quite right in my opinion considering the money we spent on them last season. The money can be better spent on more essential positions. eg-rb.

Kev83 I'd take 60 minutes from an unfit Toure before 90 from a fully fit Ambrose. It's the lesser of 2 evils and tbh personally I'd go for Erik and Lustig for the away leg.
