alright, i've got a my last guiness and a jamesons sitting in front of me, and need to vent a bit. so here goes - what have we learned from tonight?

1. ambrose is an absolute liability. get shot of him.

2. forster and vvd will be offfski if we don't get
through next week, . our two best players - gone.

3. the team looks more balanced with izzy in it. matthews is a great player, but i'd rather see him playing RM if he's going to be played out of position.

4. RD must use experience in the return leg
.
5. berget should not have started

6. we desperately miss scott brown (and forrest to a lesser extent - if we're playing with wide men)

7. macgregor is showing promise

8. we were VERY lucky tonight. it could have been 6, 7 or even 8 if it hadn't been for some prolifigate finishing, poor decision making, last gap tackles and some heroic goalkeeping from big fraser
.
9. I reckon boeriggter and stokes' days are numbered.

10. after all that though, we are the famous glasgow celtic - we are capable of overturning this result. magic happens when the tic are concerned. an early goal and the right team selection and we can do it.so try not to be too down hearted. it ain't over till the fat lady blah blah blah

still wish the return was at parkhead though - murrayfield was alright, but nothing beats the holy ground on european nights.

guiness drained!

g'night and god bless and keep the faith

Here's the thing for all Mulgrew, Ambrose etc get is tight, I do not think we can afford to get rid of anyone just now until there's replacements.

I thankfully never seen the game last night but you don't lose 4-1 to an inferior team just down to a couple of our players, granted Ambrose getting sent off didn't help matters.

At this moment in the time, a fit Forrest and Scott Brown are 2 of our best players. This is where we are.

Forster, Izzy, VVD, Ambrose, Lustig, Matthews, Brown, Forrest, Commons - these are the player we have with European and International experience, that's it? Ability you can argue but they should know better than that debacle last night.

We have nothing on the bench to come of and change the game, the squad is so lacking at the moment.

Not here to gloat I said after rangers went under the only other team that would suffer would be celtic and they have if celtic go out and lose more players I can see a real challange for the spl this year scottish football is dead on its feet sad to say but true I hope celtic get to the cl scotland needs our teams playing in europe

I have always said Mulgrew can do a job for us in midfield . Last night he was by far our worse player .
Were half of our team even trying . Deila has failed first big task badly. Will he ever overcome last night' debacle?

Mrs e, it was probably ambroses' worst game for us last night. lost the ball on numerous occassions, made bad decisions, every second pass was wayward. he was suspect at the first goal, god only knows how he couldn't clear the cross for the second and as for the red card? bad control in the middle of the park, but ambrose was a good few yards out of positon when legia broke. these few yards would have prevented the red card. I thought for the first 20 minutes or so we looked not too bad, it was a bit end to end, but I thought we'd take control. ambrose was imo, the reason we were beaten so heavily.
