Don't laugh please but what about singing Ronaldinho? He has left Athletico Miniero and is still only 34. Not sure of wages but what about that for a way of getting Parkhead full. My favourite player of the last 20 years

{Ed007's Note - Putting aside the money, Ronaldinho has been offered to several sides - Crystal Palace is one and I think QPR is another. I'm not laughing, I'd LOVE to see him here, but on the day we sold Tony Watt and signed an unknown Norwegian who has played one game in six months to signing Ronaldinho is just class mate, that cheered me up :)
I'd have Ronaldinho in my team before Messi any day, watch this and then tell me Messi is the best player ever.. pppffft!! Messi isn't even the best Argentinian player ever.

Ppl talk about pele, maradona, messi and Ronaldo but for me he tops the bill I would pay £100 every week to watch that guy world class!

{Ed007's Note - We forget how good these guys actually were as time goes on and youngsters get took in with hype and marketting these days.}

Favourite player besides Henrik. Absolute class. Probably still is. Ed's right though, I think the tone has already been set with regards to our "transfer policy". Now where did I leave that Beret?

Cheers for going easy on me Ed with this one but we can dream. I think the wages paid would immediately be recouped with a full stadium and CL qualification. And what a role model he would be for the rest of the team.

Singing ok. Any particular tune?

P.s. Wow to that video. Amazing amazing talent. Right, who's up for chipping in to pay this guys wages lol

6.) 29 Jul 2014
Definitely the best player I've seen. Surely he'd fancy a crack at the CL again?

Just watched the youtube clip. guy was sheer natural genius. he seemed to play on instinct, and as for his free kicks? wow. would be worth signing him for his set pieces alone! ed, what do you think he'd be looking for wages wise?

{Ed007's Note - Believe it or not but his current wages at Mineiro are circa £24/25k a week although there is the potential to earn a further circa £250,000 p.a. in bonuses. Whether he would be happy with that back in Europe or be looking for more I don't know.
Before moving to Mineiro, Ronaldinho was on circa £100k a week at Flamengo but that deal was terminated by a judge after the player sued the club for £13m in unpaid wages and bonuses. Flamengo admitted having difficulties paying for Ronaldinho's salary after ending their partnership with sports marketing company Traffic, which had paid most of his wages. At Mineiro his wages are paid solely by the club which is a rarity in Brazil for the more popular, and expensive, players.}

Cheers ed. if lawell had any ambition this would be the signing to end all signings. offer him 30k a week and let him keep his image rights. he'd make a packet. also 34 ain't that old. think of giggs, totti, pirlo etc. let ronny (or rabbit-monkeyman - as my ten year old called him when I made her watch the youtube clip) have his nights oot at the suave sav, as long as he produces on the pitch, the stadium would be packed to the rafters. imagine a champions league swansong for the great man? remember zidane almost single handedly won france the world cup 8 eight years ago, and he was 35 at the time.
