Morning Ed and all maybe we could get a future poll mate following on from last nights thread what is the biggest amount we will think that will be spend on any INDIVIDUAL player in the next few seasons 0-1.5 m / 1.5 - 2.5m / 2.5 - 3.5 / 3.5 +


On a separate note surely we will get someone decent to fill that iconic no 7 jersey sometime soon? atb

The Number 7 shirt should now be retired. Johnstone and Larsson were the only worthy owners of that jersey.

Lets hope not Farrell but difficult to see one in the horizon Robbie keane was the last one and that was 4/5 YEARS ago

PL must be well aware of its commercial value , but as you say it is a heavy jersey to wear atb

I don't think we'll spend more than £2.5m on a single individual for the remainder of the time Lawwell is Chief Exec / DOF / Manager. I actually think it'll come down further.

I don't care if we only sign players on free contracts, it's their ability not the price we pay that matters .
