This is a different topic. But I heard today that Juventus have broken the European record for points accrued in a league season. That amounts to 102 beating Saint MON by one point. If it was not for the 2 utter collapsed 3-3 draws against Well and Saints we would have had 103 points. In a season of breaking records this must have been the worst one we missed as it would have made our European foes take notice. Jock Stein would never have let us live on our laurels even after the league was won.

If your going to be patronising about a former manager who brought great memories then get it right Martin o'neil got 103 points and juve set a points record from top 10 ranked countries. Personally I'd rather have had 80 points and a treble but some people obviously want record points in a piss poor league rather than silverware in a cupboard. Record points totals only matter when you win or compete well in other competitions we didn't.

Kendo think you have your figures round the wrong way mate.

Juventus finished the season on 102 points today, unless they have paid someone again and been given 4 points for today's win.

Celtic are still setting the record for points and wins amassed in one season.

Sevco fans have no time for Italian football, they say there is to much cheating in it.

Went to the U19s League Cup final yesterday, was hard to judge the Celtic team with 7 players away with Scotland's U17's at the Euro Championship. Standout for me was our GK, made a few big saves at important points in the game. Also, the wee ginger winger for Ayr (wearing #11) had a cracking game for them!

Just had a look on the Celtic website, the GK yesterday was a 17 year old Irish lad called Colin McCabe. Obviously it's only based on one performance (against boys at a higher level than him) but he could have a bright future if he keeps turning out like he did yesterday. Still unsure who the Ayr winger was though!

The only one I could see with ginger hair in the aye squad was a boy called David Anderson the aye youth coach mentioned him as a potential 1st team player next season so could possibly be him HB

If that's the lad I was thinking of mate, I won't be surprised to see him in the (Scottish) Championship or Premiership in the next couple of years!

Was he that good? Ayr (not aye lol) are normally quite good producing players . At least you've got a decent chance of 1st team football there

Of course. A young player that looks the part has a good chance of getting first team football at Ayr . There isn't many International Footballers on the Ayr first team been picked ahead of him
Mind you playing first team football for Ayr doesn't necessary mean you have made it as a footballer .
