With a strong squad 2-3 quality additions at £6m is reasonable level for us with players being moved on to offset that and spending like that will largely be down to CL participating too. Not every big signing guarantees quality but I don't think we can shop in the £15m bracket due to wage demands. We can afford players like Jota and CCV and if every player we signed contributed to the team like them it's money we'll spent with a sizeable profit when they're moved on.

I never thought we'd buy a 15 million player and anyone who thought we would were dreaming. It is not our business model. I think we may pay 6-8 for the right player/ s and hope they develop and make us 15-20 million.

I also think that your Kenny Millers and that ilk saying we are weaker because Jota left have no idea what our new player's will turn out like. He calls our players unknown and they may be but their new players are known and none were regular starters for their teams, so are they really stronger. Nothing they have done worries me. We will bring in a few more who are team ready i have no doubt. They are risking everything again on a one season wonder, we are building from a strong base, with the future in mind.

Really don’t get why everyone is getting so hyped for this guy. He had an okay World Cup. Was nowhere near that level during the nations league and has been in Croatia his whole career where no big club rates him. Barkas looked like this guy and we all know how he turned out.

Now, this guy might turn out to be good for us but to say if we don’t sign him then we lack ambition is silly. A good World Cup should mean we break the transfer record for a keeper imo.

Think most fans hope were in the mix for a keeper, but your right mb our scouting team have looked at him already and don't fancy him, like most a hope wee are at least looking.

There must be more good goalkeepers available rather than just the Croatian . No point in chasing a keeper who wants to play elsewhere when there should be top keepers who want to play for us.
