The Boss Brendan stated that Celtic would do there proper business late in the transfer window as he knows how the English market works. So would everyone calm down let our manager do what he said from the start he was going to do. Honestly some celtic fans on here sound like the tribute act fans. We are Celtic and Brendan will not let us down.

I didn't catch BR saying that dth, but hopefully he's right and we will do some business towards end of the market.
I do remember him saying we would be stronger by the time the qualifiers come round, which I'm unsure if we are, but suppose the injurys haven't helped with that.
I just hope we can get past Astana or it won't be looking good for anymore signings. HH.

How will he not let us down mate. We are weaker full sto. We have two strikers injured two centre backs who aren't good enough for European group stages injured. Let's be honest. He left it too late, what players and where mate., the EPL prices and mArket are stupid. Push players are costing silly money. Where's Roberts, if he doesn't come, what then hated.

I wouldn't say we're weaker, just unlucky with injuries. What decent striker is going to come to Parkhead knowing full well we play 1 striker upfront and when Dembele and Griffiths are fit he might end up playing third fiddle. If we rush out and sign a centre back now all that it's going to result in Is us being totally overloaded in defence when everyone's fit. I agree that our centre backs aren't off group stage quality but we may need to shift more players on before signing more. No point signing players just for the sake of it and bloating both the squad and the wage bill. On a more positive note I've been impressed with Ntcham since he's signed.

dth

That logic will make plenty of sense if we crash out of the Champions League and we don't have the proper funds available or the attraction of the CL for the players we want to sign.

Also let's deal in facts for once. after we qualified for the Champions League last season we signed 1 player. That one player was Christian Gamboa. In my eyes our third choice right back. So do you think we did well last season after the EPL teams had settled their squads?
