Caulker is being sounded out as a backup Kev the two defensive targets are Duffy and Toure but Toure's wage demands may be stumbling block to move instead for Caulker.

I'd have thought his wages would be crazy too having been at QPR recently - well known they threw silly money about for very average players. Barton, Krancjar (sorry about spelling) to name two 😂😂😛😛.

I really wonder which role simunovic will have at the club once he returns from injury. Looked promising but obviously wouldn't habe a chance if a toure came on big wages.

From what little i've seen of simunovic in a celtic shirt he's at least looked solid and likes to drill the ball forward makes some nice passes but time will tell hopefully him and erik the viking strike a partnership.

wisdom rum our up and running again, supposedly in Glasgow, probably pish, but it's a rumours site. so I posted it, Caulker would be my preference over Toure and Duffy, 24 and if we got him on a permanent deal would make money in a couple of years, on 30k a week at QPR apparently, Duffy is a good shout too. definite upgrades on what we've signing, bar Erik of course.
