I heard a rumour today that guidetti won't be signing perm with us hence why deila doesn't start with him. As I said it's only a rumour so please don't shoot the messenger.

I can see why that rumour would be doing the rounds but I reckon it could just be that he ain't doing it on the pitch

If that's the case, why not give Scepovic a chance?
Unlike Guidetti, he IS a permanent Celtic player and deserves a chance to show what he can do.

I think that is pretty obvious or he would have committed by now. If I was him I would be grabbing the first 3 or 4 year deal that comes along as on current form I can't see many clubs wanting to sign him. He looks miles off the pace.

RD mustn't fancy Scepovic. Has hardly featured and will probably be moved on at a loss in the Summer.

Don't think he was ever going to sign pernament tbh, Scepovic just doesn't look like he going to settle at us he just looks lazy to me even when he brought on as a sub he looks ****ed after 5 mins, Pukki got it stinking so to me Scepovic deserves it too, in my opinion wee Griffiths deserves to be number 1 just now 110% everytime he plays.

I think Celtic will offer him the best deal they can within the current wage structure. If he gets a lot more money elsewhere then he'll probably go. Comparisons to our last Swedish striker aside😉, this lad could carve out a great career for himself here.

I think it's a reasonable assumption why he's not playing that's what my thoughts were! Guider to would score 20 season no bother just needs game time but if he doesn't want a to be here then why play him?

As I said that's what I was told . I don't understand why scepovic doesn't get game time. He had scored 2 goals in 2 games then gets dropped. I think he has a future here but he needs game time.

That would make sense Marco, I think if a deal was to be done it would have been either tied up or announced in January. Shame though if it is true as he could be a dynamo when he tweaked his fitness level. Maybe asking for too much cash perhaps?

Marco What has Scepovic done to justify a start your obviously seeing something iam not, he's been poor he never up to speed way our passing game, loses ball too much & doesn't score & he's had plenty a chances to score weather that be him starting or coming on as a sub, maybe iam being too harsh & needs more time but as I said in my previous post Pukki got a rough time & I might be wrong he had scored more goals than Scepovic at this point & he hardly got a game, you watch him next game he plays, don't know what your watching mate sorry really don't.

Looking at the Summer Transfer Window when Guidetti/Scepovic signed, to me it looks like Guidetti was only signed because Scepovic wasn't coming then with the U-Turn they decided to take both.

Last Season a was told by a former player(Mark Millar) that John Park has a lot of clout when it comes to signings, says he's more of a recruiter than a scout, backed up by the fact if you look at Neil Lennon's comments when it was coming up to TW's he always harked on about buying UK based players, Pukki/Balde were Park signings, Lennon went to Holland twice to watch Finnbogason and ended up with those 2 instead, that's why we ended up with Stokes as out #1 striker last season, and again Scepovic was spotted and recommended by Park. think Lawwell needs to start giving his manager a bit more say in signings, which I think Ronny has done with the January TW.

I thought after his terrific start he would have a slump as he had not played competitively for so long.
However he seems to have been off the boil for far too long and seems to be distracted and not focussed on getting in the team.
If Griffiths and Stokes can get in the side before him, it's not a good sign for the future.
RD obviously does not rate Scepovic and I have not seen anything from his brief starts to suggest he has a future at Celtic.
