Hi Ed, as always during the window we the fans have obsessing about players coming in, but I was wondering if we are close to getting rid of some of our deadwood? Our squad is still massive! Balde, boerrigter, rogic etc, any interest in those players?

{Ed007's Note - CFC are actively trying to offload Leigh Griffiths but again the only interest so far is from Hibs who would like to take him on loan. Vitesse Arnhem are interested in Boerrigter and Leicester, Norwich and WBA are all tracking Kris Commons whose contract talks seem to have stalled.}

Ed I know you can't stand griffiths which is fair enough but do you not think he could do a job in this system rd is implementing, also why are the club trying to offload him 9 months after he signed?anything to do with the singing the skacel songs?

{Ed007's Note - No I don't think he can do any job for us, unless he wants to start a Celtic Pools agency. He is being offloaded because his attitude stinks and he's $hite.}

Dunno about his attitude as I don't read the red top rags but I do think he's a goalscorer which is what we need imo, would hibs pay his wages or would we be the ones paying them?

{Ed007's Note - It's got nothing to do with the red top rags, it's down to Griffiths himself. He hasn't scored this season so I can't see why you think he is what we need, apart from his second season at Hibs his record is very average. We would probably pay a percentage of his wages, that's how loans usually work and Hibs couldn't afford to pay them all.}

You seem to have some insider info ed, can you see us signing a striker b4 the window shuts, someone diff than wot we have, seems all our strikers are very similar in liking to drop deep,

Ed I agree with you griffiths hasn't scored, hasn't created, hasn't contributed and is only on the bench because celtic have no other options up front as pukki and balde are rubbish . I honestly think we need more than 1 striker brought in, a left back and a mobile! Forward thinking midfielder what's your thoughts Ed?

{Ed007's Note - I totally agree, we badly need at least a striker and a CAM to provide a spark in the final third. Commons has looked disinterested of late and has never really produced in Europe anyway.

Maybe mcgregor can be the spark at cam? We've signed a few wingers and his vision and ability is showing real promise! It's like a new signing! I like the look of scepovic I hope that deal goes through! And I don't think balde has been given a chance I think we should loan him to an spl team to get a close look at him playing regularly.

RD has unleashed a gem in McGregor and it would seem he has given majority of players an opportunity. I like him, he needs time. His first competitive game was Legia and players were miles off in fitness. He seems honest, focused and has a vision. He would never be negative about players (Griffiths) who don't float his boat for sell on interest. He likes players with lots of energy who are brave and versatile. For too long we have lacked pace in attack and creativity in midfield. Johansen is a quality player and with brown will provide the energy for another creative midfielder wee crave. We need a physical presence in attack. As for RD he isn't afraid to do his own thing and I think it's refreshing, he needs time and if we are brave enough I believe we will reap the benefits.
