He turned us down as he thought he could get a megabucks contract and walk into a EPL team and when he didn't get what he was after he comes running back up the road.
Its not like he is some kind of superstar, well maybe in his own head he is.

The boy was entitled to exhaust all avenues in his next move. Either way leaving Motherwell to sign for either us or Norwich is a massive step up for the lad. I still think he’s been badly advised by his agents as at 19 with 1 full season under his belt he’d be better looking at the long term plan ie play for us, win trophies, play in Europe, and if he progresses as he hopes then he’ll get his move south one day with bags of experience in him. At the moment he’d be going to Norwich where I just don’t see him featuring week in week out as Norwich will be whipping boys down there next year and for them to remain in the EPL will take more experienced players than the likes of turnbull.

Must say there's some really strange goings on at parkhead just now! The turnbull saga, summer jobs for heads of recruitment, leaked transfer documents, jobs offered in shower rooms! Celtic get a fu**n grip! We’re going into arguably the most important season in the last 2 decades and it’s like amateur hour down there!

Is it not his right to see what else is on offer from other clubs. Some people think that cos Celtic come calling all other clubs are irrelevant but that's not the case he needed to see what he would be offered and you would do the same if you had 2 offers its only sensible. I'm glad he's joining but some people on here need to take a chill pill.

Aye Jon, 5 days ago you were probably saying we should have done anything to get the deal over the line. If and when this Bhoy signs he will be a great signing for us especially under the guidance of Scott Brown. It does not matter how you get there as long as you get there. If he is refusing to play, I wouldn't pay him.
He was fine with what's going on when he signed the new deal on more money.
He was angling for a way out pre season but was somehow persuaded to sign a new deal.

Taylor is a decent defender but not suited to wing back role as his crossing/ final ball is usually terrible in my opinion.
