Been confirmed medical tomorrow morning.

1.) 02 Aug 2021 22:07:08
Heard its Hart.

2.) 02 Aug 2021 22:49:54
Hearing 15k wages. Surprised he's taken suck a big pay cut to come if true.

3.) 02 Aug 2021 23:16:21
I take that as a good sign. It means he's committed to first team football rather than seeing out his career here. I know his form has been shaky but if we get a sniff of the keeper who won 4 PL golden gloves then I'll be happy.

4.) 02 Aug 2021 23:38:22
I agree. And let's face it. He can't be worse than barkas.

5.) 02 Aug 2021 23:42:21
I've heard it's 30k plus a week as one of our higher earners, I did see a report saying 15k a week. I think personally if he's on 50k a week at Tottenham and going down to 15k is a massive drop but if it's true then fair play to him, seldom do us fans actually really find out what players wages really are.

6.) 03 Aug 2021 06:36:06
I think if he took the lower wages then its because we have offered him a 3yr deal. Imo.

7.) 03 Aug 2021 09:11:16
Hes head and shoulders above the 2 we have, I just hope he finds his form again, his stats when consistent were impressive.

Now get another 5 signed ASAP.

8.) 03 Aug 2021 10:16:22
Head and shoulders lol please tell me that was
Meant turner.

9.) 03 Aug 2021 10:27:32
Mark
It was reported that Hart was on a basic wage of £27K a week at Spurs.
Joe will get win bonuses at Celtic and hopefully more bonuses for winning silverware.

10.) 03 Aug 2021 12:28:15
Buzz the other players at Celtic will be asking what’s a win bonus.

02 Aug 2021 18:18:06
Apparently hart has signed for Celtic 🍀.

TamB1888

1.) 02 Aug 2021 18:49:21
Hopefully true. Not that we need a goalie, but he can be back up. :)

2.) 02 Aug 2021 18:55:33
Where you hearing that from Tam?

3.) 02 Aug 2021 19:52:57
He failed medical with a flaky scalp 🤭.

4.) 02 Aug 2021 21:00:10
I don’t care that people are saying he doesn’t fit Ange’s style of football (playing as a sweeper keeper) as long as he keeps the ball out the net the fans that doubt him will eventually back him.

5.) 02 Aug 2021 21:13:13
It's the keeping the ball out of the net part, that worries me.

6.) 02 Aug 2021 21:24:46
Hart 3 year deal, medical tomorrow, Stephen McGowan, Daily Mail.

7.) 02 Aug 2021 21:35:29
Told you all on Saturday 😂😂😂.

8.) 02 Aug 2021 21:41:55
Ged
My mum told me that on Saturday, I was howling.
Surprise Surprise by Paddy Power. 😂.

9.) 02 Aug 2021 22:11:42
he's head and shoulders above the the 2 we got. sorry couldn't resist.

10.) 02 Aug 2021 22:23:00
If it's true about Hart, all I can say he will be an improvement on Barkas, but there are more able goalkeepers out there, and I hope his wages are performance related,

11.) 02 Aug 2021 23:40:24
People can say how he couldn't get a game at burnley and west ham and it's a bad signing but if that's the way they see it then they don't realise how pathetic this squad is at the moment, great signing if all goes well.

Right now whether anyone doesn't like to hear it, rangers are miles ahead of us and what we need is a solid core with experience and more leaders to help kick start ange's era and voices in the dressing room to push these newer guys on. I'll gladly take the stick for this but while we're at it I would gladly offer gary Cahill and James McCarthy at least 1 year deals, guys with premier league experience with an understanding of the British game and actually know what's at stake.

The winners of this season's premier league goes directly into the champions league next season and I would sure as sh*t feel a lot more comfortable about our chances if I see hart, Cahill, and McCarthy on the team sheet, guys who more than likely can walk straight into the team and make a difference even if it's only short term for a season or 2 as a base to build on. We need more leaders and voices in that squad and that plays a massive part in winning games when it really counts.

12.) 03 Aug 2021 00:14:49
Desperation signing like all the others that will follow this window. The squad should have been in place well before now and if it had been decided not to give the Champions league a fair crack then it should have been in place well before the start of the league campaign. So disappointing but not surprising since we have been in a bit of a groundhog day for the past number of years.

13.) 03 Aug 2021 09:04:05
Anyone celtic sign now will be called “desperation” . Shooting down joe hart is just stupid give the guy a chance, not as if big FF was no.1 for Newcastle when we signed him, he came up here and restarted (started) his career . I know things are tough right now but some “fans” need to chill out . We knew there was going to be a rebuild and as much as I’d have loved players in earlier sometimes the player you want simply isn’t available any earlier. Stop listening to MSM about how celtic “failed to sign” a player when the chances are we weren’t even involved.

Anyone who signs should get full backing from the celtic support.

14.) 03 Aug 2021 13:10:10
Why should we blindly give backing to the club and in that I mean board when it's quite clear that for the past few seasons they have failed to strengthen the squad from a position of strength. It has got so bad that we have come to a point that the squad we have is so poor. So we have just to back them because they have signed for Celtic even if they are dross. Don't think so.

These stats are certainly an eye opener regarding what Celtic are up against as well as opponents! just wish wee fergus was here he’d have published these stats as Celtic should do.

TamB1888

1.) 04 Oct 2021 14:47:51
That's 4 huge flash points in their last 3 games. If they had 4 decisions like that going against them they would have the scattergun statements out targeting the SPFL SFA Referee's etc. The worst 2 incidents V Motherwell were the stonewall penalty not given and a goal that was clearly offside.

2.) 04 Oct 2021 15:09:40
I want to highlight the difference between the Scottish referees and foreign referees.
Before the game yesterday Sevco had played 3 home games in the league and 3 home ties in Europe.
In the 3 league games Sevco had committed 33 fouls but only received ONE yellow card.
Their opponents in the league games combined committed 35 fouls and yet received TEN yellow cards.
But in the 3 European matches, Sevco committed 32 fouls at Ibrox and the foreign referees gave them 8 yellow cards and a Red Card.
And that was before yesterday’s biased referee performance because Lundstrum should’ve been sent off in the 2nd minute and yet play was allowed to continue.
Nobody can argue with the differences between our Scottish referees and the foreign referees.
Sevco have not received a Red Card from a Scottish referee in nearly 70 domestic games but they do receive the odd retrospective ban which makes it worse.

3.) 04 Oct 2021 16:03:27
We got done at tynecastle earlier in season perfectly good goal chopped off not even close to being off and the halliday challenge, the utd game clancy was awful and gave us nothing their keeper assaulted abada and nothing given, the amount of free kicks our opponents get is scary you would think the refs knew we were not great from set pieces ?.

4.) 04 Oct 2021 16:33:50
I just saw the tackle lundstrum made flying into Porteous with both feet of the ground. He could have broke the lads leg but it's allowed unless its against an orc.

5.) 04 Oct 2021 20:23:08
I'm sure I read last night that the ref on Sunday at Ibrox was Nicky Walsh who has refereed 7 matches there sending off an opposition player on 6 occasions, that seems fishy to me like.

{Ed007's Note - Nick Walsh works at Boclair Academy, TRIFC version of St Ninian’s for us. He coaches TRIFC youth players.}

6.) 04 Oct 2021 22:30:58
If that is the case then why is he allowed to referee matches that involve TRFC surely there has to be some sort of conflict of interest at play there? I'm beginning to think it is getting ludicrously ridiculous now, like you ed007 I've never really went in for the conspiracy theory thing to be honest. Now I'm thinking there is no other explanation

I'm sure I read something somewhere a good few years back that when applying to become a top grade referee in Scotland it actually had on the application form what is your religion, not that I myself am religious in any way. I'm really trying not to think in a certain way as I don't want anyone saying you are only thinking that way because they have the upper hand at the moment, the more I think about it though the more it stinks.

7.) 05 Oct 2021 13:27:58
It's laughable as all the social media sevconites are all adamant Nick Walsh is a Celtic ref.

Feel for big Ange, not calling for him to go but why buy a right back jaranovic n play him left back n buy scales who’s more suited to left back, I have to be honest I think once Ange gets his full squad back up to speed his system will be more fluent and I hope we get they players back, I like shaw from Sheffield in preseason likes a tackle and can play talking of which I watched st mirren v Aberdeen yesterday Jamie McGrath who incidentally scored 17 goals for st mirren last season was superb we could do worse than bud for him come January until then we need to get our players back and playing like we can, koyogo is a huge miss
YNWA.

TamB1888

1.) 27 Sep 2021 13:01:58
I've posted that about young mcgrath a few times Goodwin has already said he could play for us no bother, he was outstanding yesterday,
What puzzles me about ange is some selection decisions, boli appears from nowhere and then disappears your right about juranovic don't get it he has left footers on the bench, Shaw can't even make the bench and he's a big athletic midfielder.

2.) 27 Sep 2021 13:22:50
Due to injury and an unbalanced squad we have a glut of defensive permutations (including four goalies) and are struggling middle to front and we still have Jullien to come back.
We should have found and settled on our best backline and stuck with it, but are swapping and switching (possibly because of so many games? ) , but that never helps with so many new players in the door.
I can still see some good attacking play, but it is spoiled with misplaced passes, overhit crosses and giving the ball away.
Hopefully we will gradually get players back from injury as sitting middle of the table is very unfamiliar for Celtic and the support.

Meant to say Ed (mark) I had been in a very dark place, thought I could cope myself 2 years of next week deeper n deeper you get, I was to embarrassed ( a word I won’t use again there’s no embarrassment there’s no rules it’s about talking to someone I thought I could do it, thankfully I spoke out not one person knew and it gets deeper and darker, Ed if you want I could put myself forward, for any emails regarding this hidden mental health I’m no expert as I say only just finding out myself, don’t be alone bhoys n ghirls it’s ok to be not ok 💚🍀.

Admirably put Tam and I wish you all the best in the future. I am very fortunate to have had a terrific woman beside (and behind) me in severe times of need and it's important that people understand it's vital to reach out and ask for help or at least share the burden.

{Ed007's Note - I'm OK mate, thanks. My back's been giving me grief and I can't be @arsed with all the negativity & moaning on here - we're doing a podcast later on tonight so I can have a moan about the moaning on there 😁

1.) 15 Jul 2021 16:31:36
@ED007 yes Celtic had the same trouble last season with their "bad back" who couldn't e @rsed
Also why not have an outside podcast at Loch Lomond around dusk then you can all be "MOANING IN THE GLOAMING" with a Shamrock by your side (I'll get my coat lol)

{Ed007's Note - 🤦‍♂️

2.) 15 Jul 2021 17:52:05
Some positive sounds tonight no be everyone’s one cuppa tea but I for one am so looking forward to it, was thinking of doing the same as arrowh getting fed up with all the football managers on here with we should be doing and why are we signing this player, big Ange is doing a great job from what I see there seems to be a togetherness and direction the mans barely in the door n there’s criticism of him get a grip, looking forward to tonight’s show even listening to Paul pronouncing the new players 😉give me a lift listening in,
YNWA.

{Ed007's Note - 👍

3.) 15 Jul 2021 18:13:54
I'm getting better at pronouncing name's. With until you here my new intro for Manscaped lads. Tune in early to hear it. 🤣.

4.) 15 Jul 2021 18:27:37
who has criticised the manager since he's been in?

5.) 15 Jul 2021 19:48:51
There has been plenty aimed at the board with much of it carried forward from last season and that should have been expected? However, the support and anticipation surrounding the new manager, since his arrival and initial press conference has been very positive.
Now that transfer activity has increased in both directions in tandem with some very decent pre-season displays from several players, the negativity should be decreasing - for a wee while at least.

6.) 15 Jul 2021 19:56:39
Paul always love listening to your MANSCAPED promo/ intro, right good laugh, you do well to keep composed as i would be doubled over on the floor pi$hn myself trying to read it out. Keep up the good work lads! HH.

7.) 15 Jul 2021 22:21:44
Cheers lads. Delighted you all enjoy the podcast.

I’d rather Welsh stayed n fought for his place, being included in anges methodology with the rest of the squad would be my preferred option
