With the way the transfer market is, I think we are low balling ourselves by only asking 25-30 million for MOR. When you look at the transfer fees going about, Brighton recently sold someone to Chelsea for 70 million and have bought someone from Leeds for 40 million.

I sort of agree with you, but at the same time think those valuations are beyond crazy. Also we have to bear in mind that players want to move on so we can't really stand in their way. Its a tricky one. Leeds also bought that guy for £35m I think.

Add on Leicester just paying 25 million for slkipp, tbf he’s nowhere near as good as mor. Hope we don’t sell him but it look increasingly likely. I hope the club put a massive sell on figure on him as he will go on to better things within a season or two.

I noticed Brighton have just paid £40m for a player from the Championship and Leeds are certainly no bigger than Celtic in many ways. This 'pillaging' has been going on for as long as I can remember and you just have to look at the likes of VVD to see how our location and league ranking encourages bargain hunters to sniff around our players. KT went for half the cost of Wan-Bissaka also.
Unfortunately, all we can do is hope the Board do as BR stated and value the player and not the league and protect ourselves with add-ons. Another thing that makes it difficult is no other Scottish club have players with anywhere near the value of Celtic players and that's why our top stars are cherry-picked every season.

You are missing the point that they are selling to teams they compete against. They can warrant a larger fee because that player might knock your club out of the cup or relegate your team in the league.
It’s not as simple as you all are making out. On top of that clubs warrant a larger fee. You need to be realistic.

Disgrace that teams with plastic pitches are not made to water them, I don't have a problem with grass pitches not being watered that's up to the home team, but it's been proven time and time again that dry artificial surfaces can cause serious injury.

Cant blame Norwich if true. If we hadn't done our usual of trying to get players on the cheap, we probably would have him by now for around £6m.

It's about time we started paying the going rate for players instead of penny pinching and dragging transfers out for weeks and end up losing them. We have history of this. Wouldn't mind, but we expect top dollar for players we sell but penny pinch for players we want.

How can you compare McCowan with Miller? , McCowan is 26 and Miller is 18. I'm delighted we signed McCowan but it would be criminal to not try and sign Miller, it's obvious he's by far the best young talent in Scotland. Maybe he's got aspirations to head to the pub league down South and I'm sure he'll have plenty offers, but we should be targeting homegrown talent like him.

They could of sold a lot more Buzz, I live and work in the area and there's a lot of people couldn't get tickets, I'm surprised celtic never offered them more tickets once they sold out their initial allocation, be lucky if there is 35-40k there on Sunday.

We're not expecting to get to semi finals and finals of CL, but it's not too much to ask to put a team on the park that's competitive in this environment, yes we'll take the odd drubbing from the mega rich clubs, if we can't make knockout stages of CL the least we should expect is EL knockouts. This is a competition we should be aspiring to go deep into and shouldn't be beyond us.
