19yr goalie Liam Hughes has left Celtic for Liverpool.

Apparently a big reason we re losing all our young talent is that our ex-head of Scouting David Moss is now an agent

He was involved in Hepburn and Morrison moving to Bayern.

Ryancelt I think youth players at club feel like they hit a brick wall at our club trying to progress in recent years. I've no doubt in my mind that there is players in our youth set up who would of done a far better jobs than some players in first team this season.

2.) 02 Feb 2021 12:18:52
Not like we’d ever have played any of them anyway.

3.) 02 Feb 2021 12:24:34
And even if we did play them they'd get slated by fans. Just like frimpong, dembele, ralston etc.

4.) 02 Feb 2021 13:10:43
Frimpong, dembele and ralston are rank rotten.

5.) 02 Feb 2021 14:17:29
My honest opinion is, it’s the game up here, it’s brutal. Some of the tackles that go unpunished are shocking. If my boy had any talent I’d be telling him to get out of Scotland first chance he had.

Haven't shared a rumour since my biesla embarrassment but the same guy who told me that ( he's still adamant that happened) phoned me after the auld firm and said a couple of other things. I'm only sharing as one of the things was about Duffy having an toothache and needing 2teeth out. The record confirmed that other day so thought I'd share the rest as he got that correct.

Duffy was unhappy at being asked to play the euro and auldfirm as he was in bad discomfort from toothache.

Bition had asked to leave during summer and was very unhappy he wasn't allowed. He wants to go first opportunity. Supposedly had a Spanish club and club from home who wanted him.

Julian is unhappy with coaching staff and Lennon as Lennon has been trying to get him to play recently but Julian is adamant he has a back problem (club can't find anything wrong) . Julian has been paying for a fitness/ recovery coach at home and is paying for the German trip out his own pocket which he is unhappy about.

He said a few players have took it upon theirselves to get fitness coaches in at home.

I'd take it all with a pinch of salt tbh 👍🏻.

Not CV. C.V. it was meant to say.

2.) 26 Oct 2020 15:17:07
Ryan. I posted a well sourced update on the goings on, but Ed opted not to share.

There are issues beyond toothache. heard the same about jullien too . superman eh?

{Ed007's Note - Your post was put up.}

3.) 26 Oct 2020 15:24:33
Haven't seen it ed

Also, happy to share my sources with you if you wish.

{Ed007's Note - Nah you're OK.}

4.) 26 Oct 2020 15:27:07
Watch it all unravel . come end october early november . it'll be meltdown .

5.) 26 Oct 2020 17:14:48
If any of these rumours are actually true then open revolt in the dressing room will only end one way, the manager is relieved of his post. The bigger issue then is who replaces him, because that will take time and effort to get his methodology and tactics bedded in, by which time any chance of still competing for the title will be gone. I don't know the answer, clear the air meetings etc, but something needs to be done. Maybe as a support we need to accept 10 won't happen, look to next year with a new manager/ head coach and the rebuild starts now. OR the players finally find the mirror, look into it and decide that what they are offering currently is not acceptable from any professional footballer. Time will tell, in the meantime, I continue to support and hope 🙏.

6.) 26 Oct 2020 17:49:00
lubo seriously how good is your source and exactly what is going on in the camp something inside me tells me your right.

7.) 26 Oct 2020 22:02:08
3 excellent sources
All based on people talking to people
1 ex celtic player still very much involved in game
1 plays a significant role in the SPFL
And the other is a Celtic minded manager

Liam Lennon, I'm not anti NL. he wouldn't be my choice but as Celtic manager he gets my support every waking minute ( not to be confused with my being critical of him after the event, be it line up, subs, in game management and tactics etc)

I'm told that key players wanted to go after 9.too many to mention

Celtic dug in. we did look for replacements but the VOLUME of wantaway players took Celtic and Lennon by surprise

It was a rejection of him, us, and indeed the power brokers

Bit, as a Busoness, we made the business decision to hold and search. and incoming players would dictate who went .

The board where also concerned about losing momentum but overhauling squad to deal with wantaway stars

So essentially, we have top players ( 1st team) with a majority wanting to be elsewhere

This has made Lennon's job incredibly difficult.

Players wanting to go is not a new thing, but the French trio want out, ajer wants out. christie wants out. Bitton wants out.

Added to this we have signed unfit players who probably weren't able to bring the intensity of performance from. the get go.

This means we have new, unfit players being overplayed alongside players that want to actually go . and a huge unused pool who actually want to be here but who aren't deemed ready

This is bad management, but not necessarily just lennon

The nature of the issue means a quick fix is incredibly difficult

The hope is that we can rebalance and go again with promises made and incentives created to reset and push hard for the 10

A new manager ( alone) would resolve the impasse

Neil lennon will be looking on in disbelief.

The players have really really let the fans down here. lennon would have gone further apparently after ferencvaros. but it would have been bad news for the balance sheet

Key players are " doing the bare minimum " to keep up appearances, but the hard work isn't being done and the hunger and togetherness has gone

Neil can't say it
Peter Lawell won't admit it

But it is a real thing apparently

So, in summary, the issue is the volume of players that want to go and for celtic it is, for the most part, those players with a value ( which means they are more difficult to drop )

I was also told that brown wasnt dropped

In fact, he is so disgusted with many 1st team players that he, like lennon, wants us to see the pre madonnas for what they are

And rhats it

Not terribly sexy

But that's the issue apparently in a nutshell

Lennon would play Welsh, Ralston, brown and anyone else is committed, but on this modern age, you can't just go aboot driving 6 players worth 100m in aggregate in to the reserves!

{Ed007's Note - Jesus wept 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂 You've got some imagination, I'll give you that.}

8.) 27 Oct 2020 10:10:12
Just making stuff up now 😂😂😂.

9.) 27 Oct 2020 10:39:56
Lubo did call the players who were wanting out before Lenny’s rant after our CL exit.

Newbie :)

Got an in law who gives me some info now and then, well tbh 4things he told me in past, 3 I found out we’re bang on 4th never found out. Anyhow spoke to him at weekend and we had a few rums 👍🏻 So his lips were bit looser this time. Cut along story short.

Board want Bielsa, impressed by way got Leeds playing and managing it on the budget he had.
Behind scenes contact was made with his representatives 3wks ago to see if the job would interest him.

Board are terrified of being left behind by the euro big clubs as big changes in euro football are coming.
Board feel having big name manager will benefit them when changes arise.

Only passing on what been told so be gentle 👍🏻.

1.) 15 May 2019 19:29:09
This would be good Ryan.

Not sure how much bearing our manager would have on a decision like that though?

Right now though Ed is either nursing a semi or nursing a headache.

2.) 15 May 2019 19:32:37
Welcome mate, its a rumours site, we post all and sundry on here.
We are always looking for info so the more the merrier .

HH.

3.) 15 May 2019 20:31:09
That would be brilliant if we could get him in, watched Leeds a few times this season and they play some really good football, and I know he's eds number 1 choice as well.

4.) 15 May 2019 21:49:45
Leeds just out of playoffs . so a better chance now
Hail hail.

5.) 15 May 2019 19:46:45
Bond did you just jizz all over the ceiling?

{Ed007's Note - I think it went straight through it!}

6.) 15 May 2019 22:24:31
Im sorry but he doesn't speak english . how the hells he gony learn scottish 😂😂😂.

{Ed007's Note - He's been learning English since last summer and has worked in England for a year with no problems communicating.}

7.) 16 May 2019 10:31:27
Cheers guys

Like I said he’s been bang on before but don’t know if board were giving any encouragement from Bielsa representatives. He was adamant that majority of board want a biggish name. They’re terrified of being left behind when changes in Euro come. The general consensus is they feel having a biggish name will also help them sell the Celtic brand.

8.) 17 May 2019 11:18:16
Ryan now that would be an excellent appointment.

The folk shouting Ange ain't good enough are the same folk who thought jack hendry wasn't good enough. I heard Stevie Clark's name mentioned, give it a year and same folk would want rid of him because of his rubbish style.

Then we have folk wanting the board to spend millions we don't have, chasing a champion league spot.
Tell me again how rangers died? Aye that's right throwing millions trying to get champions league.

Wake up call folks!
We re not at the level of the Ajax, benfica of the world. We re down beside Malmö n rosenbergs.

1.) 01 Oct 2021 15:53:43
Years of underinvesting and downsizing and bad recruitment have seen to that.

2.) 01 Oct 2021 18:43:17
The thing is though Jack Hendry wasn't good enough.

3.) 01 Oct 2021 20:51:42
Jack has only been away a year and a bit. Now plays in better league for top club In that league. First pick international and now champions league player. Ever stop and thought it’s maybe us fans that put to much pressure and demands on our players? Folk turning on Turnbull now. Taylor probably glad he’s no on the pitch.

28 Jul 2021 22:45:18
Motherwell fan owned.
St Mirren and Hearts just about fan owned.
Time for us to be fan owned.
DD and board out.

Give big Ange cheque book and keys to training ground.
I'm his no1 fan.

Ryancelt

1.) 29 Jul 2021 08:01:54
Ryan, easier said than done.
First off you need a bucketload of cash.
Secondly, you need to have share owners who are prepared to sell.
Thirdly, when the major shareholders see a lot of movement in stocks and shares they will react.
Look how long it took the bunnet.
Many supporters let their hearts rule their heads
Of course it's possible but a lot of "ifs"

28 May 2021 21:18:57
The board would have known well in advance a ball park figure of the financial demands of every person they wanted to bring to the club and if they were interested in coming. That all gets done behind the scenes through agents. IF that's the reason for it to collapse now is a complete joke!

Don't care who they pull out their a**hole now, they won't get a penny off me anymore. Taking a break and will watch from afar. We're still run like a 80s/ 90s football club.

No top
No polo t shirt
No joggers
No season books renewed.
No donations

F**k our hierarchy! I'm scunnerd!

Ryancelt

1.) 28 May 2021 22:01:39
100% agree. What have they been doing for 3 months, did this surprise just pop out of the woodwork. What's changed? When u put all your eggs in one basket u usually have cast iron guarantees, unless your Celtic PLC of course.

01 Feb 2021 13:57:15
I wouldn't be so dismissive of Kennedy being giving a shot until end of season.

Gerrard left Liverpool youths to Rangers

Carlos Corberán Left Leeds youths to Huddersfield

Both aren't doing too bad at their clubs.

Now could be the perfect chance to see what he can do.
I would rather that than leaving Lennon in charge when it's clear as day he's lost the dressing room.

Ryancelt

1.) 01 Feb 2021 14:31:58
Agree 100% that I'd rather Kennedy until the summer than Lennon purely to get rid of Lennon but not with a view to keeping him in the hotseat past that point. No chance the fans would stand for that.

2.) 01 Feb 2021 14:36:46
If he's that good what has he been doing for the last 4 months?

3.) 01 Feb 2021 14:56:18
We’ll never know how good a manager/ coach he could be until he’s giving a shot.

If it’s true that Rodgers wanted to take him ( I have no idea if that’s true) . Then the boy must have at least some good ideas 💡 n the way the game should be played and players coached.

Like I said before I’d rather take chance on Kennedy until end of season than leaving Lennon in Charge.

4.) 01 Feb 2021 15:15:24
If Kennedy is such a highly rated coach and some say he is, why has he (1) not been offered a role elsewhere before now and (2) why has he not been offered the role at Celtic?

He's managed to find himself in a very good position in recent years, when it's trophies and success he's an important part of the coaching team, but this season, when it's been a complete disaster, it's all on NL?

Ih he becomes the next manager and I think it's a very bad idea, I doubt it will be hard for those on the waiting list to get a season ticket.

{Ed007's Note - Kennedy has turned down the managers job at both Hibs & Dundee Utd jobs in recent times that I know of.}

5.) 01 Feb 2021 15:23:12
Kevbhoy, regarding your’e point about fans not standing for it. Surely this debacle that we are in at the minute with lennon still in a job shows that the board don’t give a damn what the fans think.

6.) 01 Feb 2021 15:27:08
Fair enough Ed on Hibs and Dundee Utd as I wasn't aware of that.

{Ed007's Note - 👍

7.) 01 Feb 2021 15:28:58
For me ED, if Kennedy is that highly thought of I think he made a mistake not taking a managerial job at hibs or Dundee Utd, or anywhere to be honest. Surely that would give him the day to day experience of being his own man and if he does well I’ve no doubt somewhere down the line once proved himself he’d take the Celtic job if and when offered.

{Ed007's Note - He's only 37, if he does leave I'd imagine he will have plenty of offers.}

8.) 01 Feb 2021 18:09:53
He also stayed at Celtic when Brendan wanted him at Leicester no?

{Ed007's Note - Yep.}

12 Jan 2021 11:11:45
ED007 what's your opinion on the current situation the club is in? And what's your opinion on moving forward as a club?

Ryancelt

{Ed007's Note - The current situation is the same one we have been in for years, non-footballing people who are well past their sell by date making footballing decisions while the Club & a big section of the support are just happy to be ahead of TRIFC, happy to be the big fish in a small pond. The board & Lawwell like to spin in interviews about us being a Champions League club but they continually fail to act like one.
The Celtic fans that define themselves using the mediocre guy next door as the benchmark will never force improvement or accept the sacrifices needed to move on, being happy to beat them and laugh at them is precisely the complacency that has put the Club in it's current woeful position.
Now that the Treble run is over does it really matter who wins the League Cup in the future? We should have been concentrating on European progress over the last decade and that's been one of the biggest mistakes the Club has made, the league should always be priority but we need to change the parochial mindset and look at the bigger picture as we move forward.
Moving forward is simple and everyone can see it apart from those that matter apparently, or they see it and refuse to act which is probably more accurate. The board needs gutted and Lawwell replaced as CEO with someone with a long term plan & vision who will bring in the best available DOF to modernise the entire footballing department including the first team coaches. I have no problem with the amount of money we spend but we need to spend it wiser on better quality players, instead of gambling £2 million a piece on 3 players buy one better player for £5/6 million - that and better youth coaching with a clear path to the first team would make a huge difference.
We're the biggest Club in Scotland, we're the richest and have been dominating for the last 20 years but the way a lot of fans obsess over what's going on at Ibrox is as damaging to Celtic than anything Lawwell has done, their obsession with them has meant all Lawwell had to do was make sure guys had bragging rights at work and they were happy.
It's only now that it looks like TRIFC might win the league people are getting angry, they should have been angry like this every time we failed to qualify for the CL because we didn't prepare for it, we gambled and lost more than we won.
But we could all laugh at TRIFC eh? That was ALL that mattered to a lot of fans.}

1.) 12 Jan 2021 12:19:10
Bang on ed absolutely bang on.

{Ed007's Note - Thanks, Liam 👍

2.) 12 Jan 2021 12:32:24
Ed bang on we settled for being better than them which isn’t much of a mindset rather than progress in Europe at some level. Things have gone down hill and we’ve watched bang average stuff since Rodgers left. The board have taken maximum advantage of the fans parochial attitude. They knew we’d buy season tickets as long as the 10 was alive but it’s now dead which might be blessing in that respect. Restructure needed top to bottom. Let the business people run the business and let the football people look after the football.

{Ed007's Note - Celtic fans only have themselves to blame, JFP, their obsession with TRIFC meant that they weren't looking at the bigger picture. You've got 2 types of Celtic supporter, the first one is a Celtic supporter who follows the Club, goes to games and are on social media talking about Celtic. Then there's the other ones, the Old Firm supporters that spend their day obsessing over TRIFC, trawling the internet reading and talking about them, there's Celtic (Old Firm) supporters out there that make a living blogging about TRIFC, what the Hell's that all about?
There is no other rivalry in world football that turns grown men into childish, gullible fools, it's embarrassing.}

3.) 12 Jan 2021 12:57:28
Nailed it Ed. Shambolic what is happening this season. Watching the game last night and it panned to Lawell sitting in the Directors box he looked like an old man who should be retired, not running the biggest team in Scotland on the second highest salary in the entire UK Football industry.

{Ed007's Note - He does look rough and he's definitely aged - unless he's been on the botox for years and he can't get it done just now because of Covid 😂

4.) 12 Jan 2021 13:57:23
Kim Jong-uns double 😂.

{Ed007's Note - Wee Kim could learn a trick or two from Pedro.}

5.) 12 Jan 2021 18:33:59
Pretty much agree with everything you said.

Can you see any change happening with DD at club?

{Ed007's Note - No mate unless he moves aside for his son to take over.}

6.) 12 Jan 2021 18:41:04
Ps. Totally agree on the league cup. It should be used to give youngsters and squad members game time.

{Ed007's Note - 👍 The league should always be our priority then it should be Europe and preferably the CL although the draw can be cruel and you can never guarantee qualification even having a go in the EL will help improve players and raise our profile. By the time the Scottish Cup comes around the European groups are over and hopefully we'd still have European football after Christmas but we can also try for the Scottish Cup.}

7.) 12 Jan 2021 18:48:16
Pretty sure you've been saying the same thing since 2012 ED.

{Ed007's Note - I know mate, sorry 😥

Why wait this long to give it to Kennedy (if reports are true) . Has someone else knocked us back?

He could have still been given caretaker role and fans told he’s our future DOF.

My hope for a modern thinking intense counter pressing thinking DOF/ manager are slowly fading day by day.
