If we have learned anything in football this season its how quickly things can change.
Last season they were miles behind us and now miles ahead, in player terms we are a match if not better,
What we lack is a system that works consistently and balance in the team.
Along with a lot of bad luck and deplorable decisions ofcourse.
All that is easily turned around with a few out and a few in along with a manager with vision, what we can't say is we are not renewing season tickets and tell the board to spend money in same sentence.
We can't get to games obv so we can't vent our feelings the same and if we were there im sure Lawwell and Lennon would be out very soon if not already.
What we have to do is be patient and let Desmond know our feelings over time consistently and change will happen he is not a stupid man.
For me there is def a team there, if u can add a couple of full backs that can deliver with someone up top that wants a cross in along with a centre half that wants to defend then we are def there. I know its not easy but find that system and manager then we will be fine.
Oh and instead of buying 5 players at 3-5m why not get 2-3 at 6-8m. Prob save money and and get better quality esp if they young.
So guys don't get down i know the 10 was a rope around our necks but i will happily take 9 leagues out of 10 anytime.

The alarm bells should have gone off at least at Christmas 2019 disaster in Europe getting absolutely pumped off Sevco but no Lennon will get it right naw he won't But the board done nothing about it Europe 2020 total disaster Board again did nothing about it Lennon will get it right getting pumped off Sevco for the 3rd time board yet again did nothing about it Lennon will get it right now look at what has happened 13 players out and we are out of Europe out of 10IAR and still the board do nothing.

Celtic topped our European group last season and Lennon done well to change our formation in January.
I don’t have any complaints about last season because Celtic were brilliant.
The first time the alarm bells went off for me was the CL exit in August.
Playing with no strikers and then throwing the players under the bus with his rant after the game.
I started to seriously question Lennon after our Derby defeat in October.
It was lambs to the slaughter the way he sent out his under strength team to play a 3-5-2 formation. Which meant he was forced to play our 6th choice CB.
I couldn’t believe his excuse that the players hadn’t trained with a 4 at the back formation.
It was taxi for Lennon at that point.
Celtic went on a run of 2 wins from 12 games and the fans were pleading for a change because we knew we were in trouble.
The board let us down and done nothing.
It turned out the supporters were correct after all.

Buzz It has taken him TWO years to get a formation and the correct players to play most have been under his nose for that time. Christmas last year Sevco toped the table after hammering us FOR THE SECOND TIME it was Sevco that Imploded last year not us that was so good . That is ridiculous record for a so called professional manager getting paid x amount of thousands of pounds a week to get a formation correct after 2 years in charge. Do you think the cluj game last year was Brilliant?

No this is a realistic Celtic supporter one who thinks we should never be this far behind ANY Scottish team This is a Celtic supporter that thinks we should be doing better in Europe we will never win it but we should be in it This is a Celtic supporter that said last year that Lennon should be sacked but called a panty weter this is a Celtic supporter that can't believe that anyone thought Lennon did a good job.

Just now Sevco really really sadly is our bench mark a bench mark that should never been allowed to happen a team that have hammered us 3 times in a row and even if they were lucky this time they still won if it was Aberdeen or Hibernian I would be saying them not Sevco I feel NO team in Scotland should have been aloud to turn us over that easy and the manager keep his job if that was RD in charge does anyone think he would still be manager for the past 2 years? Its bot to do with Sevco as a club but how our club is run and doing at this present time.

No probs ed always happy to help. I don't know if u been asked before apologies if so. But how did u get involved in the site and who set up the site. Just interested as its really well run and and we are all fans of the site. Its actually my first point of call everyday, sad i know lol.
{Ed007's Note - The site started about 15 years ago when Ed033 needed a college or uni project and Ed001 came up with an idea of a footballing forum, I think it started just as a Liverpool page before it grew enough that teams needed their own site about 12ish years ago.
I started reading the site just by sheer chance about 11/12 years ago when my dad was not well and my leg problems started so I ended up spending a lot of time - day & night - just basically drinking Guinness and blethering a load of $hite about Celtic to pass the time.
My dad died in January 2010 and I hadn't posted for a while when I got and e-mail off E001 if everything was OK and would I be interested in helping him run the Celtic site, I said no as I wasn't that clued up on computers (although I've got an HND in Computer Science that was 20 years ago at the time) and I told him about my leg problems and my dad passing as I had never mentioned stuff like that. He told me it wasn't difficult to use the system and to think about it, it would be something to do and pass the time and keep me occupied, so I asked the Mrs what she thought and she said I should at least try it and here we are, nearly 10 years later ðŸ˜
I try and sit here for 12 hours a day - now that's SAD, maybe mad!}

Ed that’s us officially fell oot. You’ve got me greeting noo. Best thing you ever did. When you were talking about only needing wan boot last week ah wiz absolute howling but didn’t want to say. When I’d the stroke 5 years ago I’d a really bad limp on ma right side I went for a meal when I got out of hospital with ma mate in Glasgow. I was limping across the street and there was a Glasga bus coming when ma mate shouted ‘C’mon tae feck Winston! ’ Ed I was buckled. So hence why I don’t take too well to the troops shouting the end of the world is feckn nigh we might no do 10 in a row. I watched us winning feck all. I’ll be as sick as anybody’s but apologies if I appear unsympathetic. I’m a Celtic supporter. Faithful through and through. And over and over WE will follow you. Even was wan leg and a limp. ðŸ‘.

Yo do a grand job Ed. When I lost my job due to physical health ailments then depression ptsd and rubbish this forum has always been a great wee forum to read through (*still is*) , plus TRIFC page always had the sides splitting to brighten up rubbish days.

Troubling times for us its not something we have been used to lately.
From a purely football and tactical point of view we have played 352 and 4231, and we constantly switch between these 2.
However what we have never tried is 433, why not?
Take the last 10 games for eg before a ball was kicked we had some very hard games, some hard games and some not so hard.
Yet to my eyes we have played the same way in all of these games.
Yes system may switch but its still all out attack no matter what.
Considering we have had some hard games can anyone remember us being compact and hard to beat?
Nope.
Have we ever dropped off and let the teams come onto us and try to hit on the break?
Nope.
When you consider we have a manager who (self confessed) is a man manager and a motivater have you seen the players highly motivated?
Nope.
When you consider we have an Ass. Manager who is touted to be a great coach have you seen any tactical plans to beat the opposition?
Nope.
All of the above tells me the Mgt Team are nowhere near what we require and need to be removed.
Nothing personal guys your just not up to the job.

Raymundo I don't think we have right players for 4-3-3, but your right in thinking we do need a different shape.
{Ed007's Note - I think our problems are running deeper than the formation now, Phil. It's down to the players' attitude and their willingness to their job as professional as is required. For me there is never any excuse for not giving 100% on the field and that's what it looks like.
People probably expected me to come out all guns blazing and crucifying Lennon big time but I'm not putting all the blame on him, those players playing to the best of their ability are still the best players in Scotland - as our recent trophy haul shows - and with no disrespect to Ross County we should be pumping them regardless of formation or tactics.}

Ed its not so much they formation as i pointed out its the lack of organisation regardless of that. We always go chasing the ball when we lose it in oppositions half. Where other teams fall back in position and make it difficult for u. How many times do we see 1 or 2 passes and the other team is thro on goal. that's organisation or lack of. I cudnt tell u when i seen us with a low block and prepared to hit on the break. Its just strange for me that we don't utilise it.
You don't need a winger for 433 the front 3 can be 2 strikers and christie for eg
Look at Scotland they played front 3 of Dykes MCginn christie. Would u call Mani Firmino Salah wingers lol.
The important thing is front 3 get behind the ball at half way line and dare the other team to make a mistake.

You don't need to play a 442 to get 2 up front. what's wrong with 433 can play many permutations of this. 2 strikers with christie for eg. Or 2 with a winger or 1 with 2 CAMS. So many choices depending on oppponent.

Ive always said Europe is our barometer, yes we can lift trophies all day long and of course they are important but we never find out how good we are till we play in Europe.
If we get a team capable of getting into CL and competing in the group stages then we have a team that's more than capable of winning the league, and u get the bonus of all the money and better players wanting to come.
So Pedro I ask you this.
What plans have you got to get to the CL as we have failed miserably lately and we constantly go into qualifiers under prepared.
