Listening to the pod cast there . Great as usual . But see this whole honest mistake situation . Listen I am not tin hat conspiracy the worlds out to get us or that . But by god for how long has this been allowed to go on . And is it just me or is it getting worse by the game . It the classic give an inch take a yard . Because Celtic fc have not the balls to stand up to this . I really do think that now the fans have to start the momentum and be asking the questions. Surely if enough fans are bombarding whoever it may be with video or footage asking these questions . Or whoever someone surely has to answer one way or another . If it be me I would be bombarding eufa or the top

{Ed007's Note - Thanks, Paddy ? I'm the same way of thinking as you and don't buy into wild conspiracies but there is serious questions regarding a) the overall standard of refereeing in Scotland and b) the integrity of the whole refereeing organisation in Scotland. It needs to be brought when appropriate - which is nearly every week - and not so that it looks like sour grapes or looking for excuses for poor results AND it shouldn't be just down to Celtic to call this stuff out. Other managers & players should be allowed to criticise referees if they feel aggrieved about decisions but they're hands are tied and there is no process to allow even mediation between managers and refs to explain decisions they've made, referees should be held publicly accountable for obvious errors and allowed to explain why they made the decision they did.
I would love for someone from the press or even from our fan media to ask Ange what he thinks of the standard of refereeing in general in Scotland - and ask other managers/platers too.
I've said it for months on the pod that refereeing should be taken out of the hands of national FAs and let UEFA/FIFA run it and allot referees for the top leagues in countries.}

I thought it was rather interesting what you said yesterday ed007 we were given 27 fouls against us yesterday which if Aberdeen had 100% of the ball would equate to a foul just over every 3 minutes of the game, as it happens they had the ball for 40% of the match which would be roughly a foul to them every 1.30 minutes. If you factor in 50/ 50's and the like you are probably looking at us being penalised every 1.45 minutes.
My calculations may be wrong I'm not really sure, if they are correct that is just ridiculous.
Maybe the resident stato buzz bomb could confirm or deny my numbers are correct?

I mean if that Ramsay is one of the best young defenders in Scotland then Aberdeen and the national team are in for a Hell of a time in the future the amount of times a wee guy like Jota fouled him, talk about powderpuff. I noticed a few Celtic sites have wrote about the amount of fouls Celtic have been penalised for since the start of the season.
They came up with a formula which included the ball actually being in play for a Approximately 60 minutes in a game.
Flashscore gave Aberdeen 37% possession for the game yesterday.
That would only be 22 minutes 12 seconds of possession of actual ball in play for Aberdeen.
Celtic committed 27 fouls yesterday, which means Bobby Madden gave Aberdeen a foul every 49 seconds from actual playing time.
If you look on the banter page 2,there’s similar statistics for the Hearts V Celtic game when Bobby Madden was the referee.

A quick question . How many games is that now that rangers have had yellow cards turned in to red after a game . and how many times has this happened in other games through out the league this season . And they are complaining . There being picked on singles out by the officials ect ect . surely the flip side to that is if the refs were doing there jobs right in the first place how many of such game would they of finished the game with the players on the park that they did . So aye they might be getting bans retrospectively after said games but there are gaining advantage in the given game at the time .

Mentioned a wee while ago that this seems to be a recurring habit from some referees, who leave the decision to retrospective punishment, rather than penalize them at source - especially at home.

Here's one for yous contvirtual I know . but we used to say not one if there players would get in our team . I would maby bar Kent ( not technically there player) . Say still none would make our starting 11 . but who if any replacements through out the squad .

Said earlier, that they are bang average, but they are organized with ordinary players in their proper positions and their manager fired them up to get in our faces, shut down players and space and use the crowd. We are without a real centre forward who can hold up play, play players in and lead the line, are without pace and trickery on the wings, no creative midfield player (Rogic is a man short) , a left winger playing at left back and very few ball winners in midfield.
Add to that our dead-ball failings and a manager who seemed deflated and uninspired from start to finish and it means we need a shake-up.

Surely any decent manager would want to have some say on the ins and outs of his team . I am not saying past scouted player should be binned or that but the new manager especially a decent one would want to run the rule over them . Not unless the manager has already been selected and behind the scenes having some input . it’s all guess work the now really let’s get sat out the way first sort our hangover on Sunday. Manager position clarified Monday . Then roll on transfer speculations for the next few weeks.

Who’s scouting these player . just the now surely we can’t be actively chasing players . when we don’t even have a manager confirmed . An if we are surely he that tells that Lenny will be here one way or another next season . Because surely the caliber of managed we are after will want to select his own targets.
