We must be getting near to announcing a new management team, lots off people adding names and talking about it, that’s the agents trying to get interest in their client or trying to hurry the club to name their manager, or put them forward for other jobs like the Aberdeen job (.

Hi all, I am very unsure about the way things are going, why do we wait till the very last minute to do deals? Why play players in games when the manager clearly does not like them? And this story off us spending 9m on a player, we only did so as they knew Armstrong was going . please do t come back to me and stick up for the club I know how things go on as I did a small part in a Semi pro league yes it's different but getting players was done the same I got offerd players from all over, so I hu are we all ways going for the same old players.

I can only reiterate that it is the first week of July. We signed Ntcham later than this. Resigned Roberts later than this. The season before Sinclair later than this. So obviously there is still time to get good signings in. Earlier would be better, don't get me wrong, but I don't know why people get in a panic every year.

If we want to continue to totally dominate domestically, be the only Scottish club to play in Europe after August and keep the best manager we have had in many-a-year - we will improve the squad.

HappyTim has made a point about getting players in to settle and gel BEFORE we play qualifiers. Nothing wrong with that point as we all hope to progress to group stages and due to circumstances outwith our control, we have to play games earlier than most.

Surely every Celtic supporter has a right to wear his green glasses if he wants .
As far as getting in players early to suit impatient fans, that would be no problem, if we didn't have specific players in mind . I hope buying to satisfy fans is no longer done and in fact I know it isn't . Brendan has his targets and we cannot buy the player until he is ready to sign and his club are ready to sell.

A lot of players might not be to keen on coming to this SPFL at first so will wait and see if anything else develops.
Some player may wait and see if we qualify for the CL group stages, Also the English transfer window closes on Aug 9th and they need to cut their squads down to 25 so there will be a few players available then.

your point is fair about the release and availability of players and EPL window closing August, but.
WE have qualifying games on 10th and 17th and 24th and 31st July.
So that will potentially be be 4 (possibly 5 games) before that window for English clubs to buy ends.
And that is not even considering the possibility of us losing any players.
So, while not panicking, I do hope we are going about our business to strengthen the squad.

We all know that going out CL was a very low point, and the last games have been bad but I am happy what is going on, the manager and cleaning up the crap, sending players out on loan then hoping to sell and not wasting money on panic buys like Neil Lennon done, have faith boys it's going to be good hail hail
