Awrite ed hope all is well just to see if you know how much truth there is on the tonev deal years loan with option to buy also heard Newcastle ready to test the waters with 6m big for big virgil

Grahamd80

{Ed007's Note - Tonev has been on Pedro and JP's radar for a while so if he's available it wouldn't surprise me. Van Dijk's own preference is a move to Southampton or Spurs.}

Absolutely delighted with how game is going just thinking how good could Armstrong be if he can get that consistency in his passing really think the boy is so close to being the complete midfielder.

Thinking of taking weeman to game tomorrow just wondering what people's thoughts about sort of team well play being strongest team or not. One thing holding me back is I've took weeman to 5 games with 5 defeats but thinking of giving him another chance with new season new manager and all saw its on bt sports so thinking won't be massive crowd anyone know how many being sold wee mans autistic so not the easiest to keep seated for 90 mins lol.

Grahamd80

1.) 09 Aug 2016 13:45:44
No griffiths probably an experimental team hoping dembele gets at least a goal should of got 1 against hearts.

2.) 09 Aug 2016 14:06:20
in the same boat regarding ma wee man Graham, When i go to games ( very rare these days) with the boy i take a pair of ear defenders for him. Settled him down a wee bit, don't imagine there will be a full house so tomorrow might be your best bet pal, all the best.

3.) 09 Aug 2016 14:07:15
He's had his chance, too much of a risk!

4.) 09 Aug 2016 14:12:50
Graham80 : don't think the game will be sold out, but why not contact CP and ask for any assistance in seating . You can but ask mate . Stay well mate
HH.

5.) 09 Aug 2016 14:32:21
I wouldn't be surprised if he picks quite a strong team tomorrow night, we haven't got a league match on Saturday so there is no need to take any risks with this game.
Saturdays match against Inter is only a friendly so I would much rather we give priority to the Motherwell match as there's a trophy at stake.

6.) 09 Aug 2016 15:26:03
Graham80 as another poster said, either contact club or ask senior steward in your section for help with the wee man, I know autistic kids do not like crowds, so if a smallish crowd ask to sit in the empty seats away from the crowd.

7.) 09 Aug 2016 15:57:59
I can't see him picking a weak team I think he will put his strongest team which will play in the qualifier to gel them.

8.) 09 Aug 2016 15:50:31
Cheers guys just trying to catch up with everything getting up to speed slowly but surely kinda thinking that myself HT how many chances do I give him haha credit where it's due though he keeps wanting to go back for more.

9.) 09 Aug 2016 15:51:05
Sorry for the irrelevant post, just wondering how difficult it would be to get tickets for the Celtic v Rangers game at Ibrox on 31st December? planning ahead I know but me and some of my mates are up for it but live on the Isle of Man so not sure what the best way to go about it would be? Watching Rangers get done at Ibrox would be the perfect way to end the year! cheers.

10.) 09 Aug 2016 16:13:03
Sure I saw a documentary on a club down south with a 'quiet room' for such supporters. don't Celtic have this?

Haha that's just back luck. My first cup final was Raith Rovers in 1994 and my dad said he wouldn't take me to another lol.

14.) 09 Aug 2016 16:50:38
Jack if you're a season ticket holder and purchase tickets for every away game up to this particular game you may have a slight chance of a ticket if not forget it unless you pay over the odds.

15.) 09 Aug 2016 17:13:23
First 3 Celtic games my dad took me to we lost them all and that included a 5-1 hammering at Dens Park and we scored first that day.

16.) 09 Aug 2016 23:00:54
Prodigal bhoy I don't think we have any quiet rooms but we often have quiet stands unfortunately.

Wasn't best game I've ever seen today but any win at tynecastle is always a good win as far as I'm concerned what I did like about today was the fight and the communication between the players think that was a lot to do with toure being on the pitch in my opinion him being there gave the players extra confidence especially young O'Connell who wasn't scared to have a go when needed don't know if anyone agrees but I thought for the hour Armstrong played he looked as if he's gained a couple of yards of pace final point I thought the way Rodgers conducted himself after the game was very refreshing especially his honesty about the game and individual players sorry I've went on guys not posted for about 2 years just won my cancer fight so a bit tipsy and happy.

Grahamd80

{Ed007's Note - Hi Graham, I remember you mate. It's nice to see you back and that's wonderful news about your illness, congratulations on your victory (clap) You take care.}

3.) 07 Aug 2016 19:23:06
well done and congrats Graham.

4.) 07 Aug 2016 19:24:57
Congratulations Graham that's wonderful news, I thought Armstrong had a great game and got about the pitch well but thought the team in general worked hard and done well here's hoping it's just the start and continues!

5.) 07 Aug 2016 19:28:53
Hail hail grahamd80, fantastic news 4 u bud and agree with your assessment of the game and manager. We usually do well at swinecastle n glad that continued 2day, it was a battle n we stood up to the test, thought brown again was great and is game by game getting back to the level we need from him. -Kt fantastic as ever, along with yours O'Connell n lustig, I like lustig at centre back. Up front in the forward positions we look good so good signs, although 1 or 2 more signings as well as hopefully anew goalkeeper I'd feel that was a strong team, minus 3 or 4 more of the squad players who won't get a game. Again fantastic news for you mate.

6.) 07 Aug 2016 19:46:08
Congrat with winning your battle.

{Ed001's Note - congrats Graham, always good to see someone win that fight.}

7.) 07 Aug 2016 20:02:05
Echo all sentiments that is the best result of the day

Well done and WB 👍🍀.

22 May 2014 21:22:19
Ed you heard anything about Dan petresco on the shortlist what wouuld you make of him

Grahamd80

{Ed007's Note - I have not Graham but we could do worse than him.}

1.) Ed do you know who is on the short list?

{Ed007's Note - Do you think there is a shortlist? }

2.) I think the club has known Neil Lennon was going to leave for a while now and I also think they have already got a list of managers lined up to ready to replace him.

{Ed007's Note - What I meant was, what if the list only has one name on it? I think the board know who will be the new manager and have done for a while.}

3.) 23 May 2014 00:29:13
Don't know what to believe you hear names get excited then you hear oothers and get back to reality lol i'm sure well find out sooner ot later ed007 a lot of things sure begining to make sense like sami even commons like you mentioned. soz bout spelling had few shandies and hate touchscreens lol

{Ed007's Note - I just hope that we get the new man in ASAP to allow him to put his own stamp on the team personnel wise. The right appointment with some money invested in the team to bring in quality and we are good to go. Your spelling's fine btw.}

4.) Hi Ed, what would you say to a Lambert Larsson team? they got on very well as players and they are both very professional. They would bring back a bit of respect, discipline and pride in the shirt. Lambert now has a bit of experience under his belt and Larsson could be a good foil for him. they would possibly suit the budget too.

{Ed007's Note - Yeah that could work but I don't think Lambert fancies the job at all.}

Agree with him being a supporter part gaz just can't see him wanting to come back to scottish football at this early stage of his career can honestly see him ending up at someone like west ham we're arsenal not interested as well.

I still give my uncle pelters to this day for the love street game he got nutmegged by Owen archdeacon in the build up to I think the 3rd goal There's that many too choose from but I still loved being at anfield when big john scored and the stand was literally rocking thought it was going to collapse 😁.

It's interesting seeing how other people handle it to get an insight I lost my wife last month to lung cancer and it's just me and my wee boy I don't have that privilege of speaking to other people but what I will say is I've had great friends rallying round especially with wee man and his disabilities haven't brought myself to watch Rio Ferdinand yet but fair play to him for speaking out.

Grahamd80

{Ed007's Note - I'm really sorry to hear about your wife, Graham, that's such a shame and my thoughts and prayers are with you all. God bless you, your son and the rest of the family during what I can only imagine is a truly awful time in all of your lives, Take care buddy.}
