Considering BR stated he wanted transfer business concluded early, he's been let down. Frustrating that we have a narrow lead and board not willing to focus really sources to strengthen the squad, even if it's not for the fans and the club, if the money men on the board don't invest the we risk no CL and no big cheque. Why are we continually hampered rather than supported? We know there's a need to be financially stable but if we don't invest and win the league then their business model collapses.

Apparently in the world of football there is no players available that would improve our team. ?.

BR and Managers of other clubs can say that they want their business done early, but in many cases they can repeat that until they are blue in the face but if the managers and Boards of the clubs who hold the Registration of the wanted players and are not prepared to release them early for whatever reason, then there is no point in harping on that BR wanted certain players earlier . BR is closer to the transfers than us ordinary mugs supporters, and he isn’t shouting from the roof tops about not getting players in early . We could get players in early but obviously, they wouldn’t have met our criteria, and although fans would be jumping for joy with all key positions filled, within a month or two same fans would be shouting about squad too bulky and new players deadwood.
In Politics it is hard to please everyone all the time, Some Celtic supporters are never pleased at any time.

BR publicly saying he wanted business done early and then saying he wanted quality and strength in certain areas, was playing to his audience, letting us fans know it wasn’t his fault .
It’s like Manager saying at half time he wanted a fast start with a couple of early goals after his team had scored twice in first 15 mins.
Before game he would have said he wanted a fast start. Managers know that their success is built on other people delivering . BR seems to be at ease with transfer window as he is jovial form in his press conference .
We will most likely win the league if we all stick together and support the whole club, in fighting cost points earlier this season.

Well no doubt when the squad get out of isolation they'll be queuing up to put transfer requests in. When can we send Duffy back, what a disaster!

you can't single out one player in this fiasco. giving a manager free range in a shower says it all.

Singling out Duffy is starting to get boring. It’s not worked out for the laddie. His old man took him to Celtic Park as a boy and dies suddenly aged 53 the year he signed for his boyhood heroes. Can you imagine how that felt running onto the park for his debut? He’s very well thought of as a person and is certainly not ‘our Joey Barton’ as was suggested on here. He’s been poor but you couldn’t fault him for heart and effort unlike Eddy and Ntcham amongst others. He will be feeling this seasons failures as much as us and many in his hometown of Derry and a damn sight more than some of his teammates. There are bigger problems at Celtic Park than Shane Duffy. We know it hasn’t worked out but change the broken record it’s starting to sound vindictive.

Collapse has many reasons, some will n vet be public
Duffy team al indicative of what’s went wrong
Need to get back to a clean sheet and rebuild
Problem is those in power will stay
I can’t see bouncing back next season troubled times ahead.

Priority is getting first team players in who are fit and focused. Hickey is a project and at the end of the day whether we like it or not we will be a selling club, especially if NL and Co have us exiting CL at the qualifying stages.

Guys Brown has had his day, he’s been a great servant but it’s time to cut the cord. How many times this season did he follow through on his grand speeches.

That just screams he is either arrogant or delusional, the lack of decisive action to recognise his failings has obviously given NL a sense he’s untouchable - well he definitely isn’t.

DD treats us his little hobby, he should have been attracting investors so that we could retain the s had and build on it this cycle of selling quality and gambling on ‘future prospects’ and loan deals for players who are stagnating in the EPL is a disastrous strategy added to that placing our success on a coach who was cheap, easily manipulated by PL. The board are let’s face it interested in balance sheets not the club our proud history, or our supporters so yes I agree let’s make sure they realise that the money will dry up if they don’t take decisive action and put together a strategy for success.

Fans wanted and it would have been a great bit of business another one to add to a long list of screw ups, and NL supposedly favours Championship players.
