A journalist, by the name of Duncan Castles, claims today, that Celtic are trying to FLOG Moussa Dembele in this window, due to needing the money in. From what he understands, the club needs the cash flow.
Is this another piece, straight out of Govan?
{Ed001's Note - Castles is a Mourinho man with his head very firmly up Jose's behind. He is nothing to do with Rangers. Most likely thing is that Mourinho is interested, hence the story.}

Just read the background on this, the articles and also opinions on the dark web.
they love it but clearly its a defection piece - they are reading this and not thinking about their own real problems.
Journalists get paid to talk and write, if they have nothing to say, they don't get pay, and they want people talking about their "opinion", as we all are now (apparently he's "highly respected" according to one of the minions.
earlier in the month he said celtic want to maximise the fee they get for him - that's not news, that's just common sense.
There's a word for people who believe stuff at face value with the facts not backing it up.

Seen a few stories on a few unreliable sites, bare with me. They mention Armstrong seeing out his contract and leaving for Europe and not England.
Any idea if that contract will end up signed?
{Ed007's Note - Armstrong and his representatives have held talks with the Club about extending his deal and the player has said things are 'going well' regarding that so I'd take what you read with a pinch of salt, Garry.}

Try my best not to read them, usually because you come across terrible pieces like the one written today by a man named Gordon Parks. Terrible from start to finish with an astonishing attack on a young player for choosing Celtic whilst also trying to punt our young left back into the bargain.

Just read it myself Garry absolutely mental how someone so bitter can be paid to put something like that in the public domain. Saying Roberts has no ambition and also stating that he wasn't that great last time out "late burst" I believe was the term used, however on the other hand he's comparing him with guys like Ousmane Dembélé, Kylian Mbappé and Leroy Sane some of the best young talent in the world. What a complete nonce.

Agree totally with both comments above.
Some people claim that out league suffers from a lack of quality, decent exposure, etc. It's little wonder when some twit reporter puts together a piece like this - instead of saying what a great signing Roberts is for Celtic and how Celtic tried to make the deal permanent, all he does is lambast Roberts, who will get games against some of the best teams in Europe. He also lauds the decision of a player who chose to play for Swansea as though it were the pinnacle of achievement.
This move should be hailed for Celtic attracting genuine quality, but what bugs me most is the undeniable fact that sevco sign has beens and dross and are lauded for their "coups". Bitter, pathetic, shite.

Read this sh**e myself what a lot of rubbish. So playing in the overhyped EPL for Swansea is better. Or an nice side that will never win the league.
Common sense attacking player needs an attacking team to develop their key skills. He also has the exposure of 6 CL games and potentially more to show his talents. Think they understates the benefits of working with a talented manager and a strong competitive attacking Celtic.
To counter this f***Ys arguments take note of Wanyama (Tottenham regular who handle themseleves well last year) or VVD (who valued at 80+) most expensive centre half out there and another decent season under his belt it's just going to go higher. Big Foster even now a regular call up for England international. But as you a know Celtic is no platform to continue to enhance careers.
This paper should be burnt for the tarnishing of this Scottish game. No wonder no one's sees it worth while with close like this constantly slandering the game.

We all know that this story came from Jim "Jabba The Hut" Traynor and its intentions are to try and take some of the shine off of us getting Paddy Roberts.

Don't think "upset" is the right word man. more so slightly suprised at just how low they are actually going. As 4leaf mentioned we have a track record of players now playing in the Premiership and have a team full of talent that we know will eventually move onto better things.

What's the script with these 3 apparent signings that we have yet to confirm. Is it made up nonsense, or have we actually kept it that close to our chests?
{Ed007's Note - I think if there were deals completed someone somewhere would know and they would be leaked, there's too many people involved in 3 separate deals and nothing coming out.
In my opinion it could be theses deals people are talking about might well be new contracts for the likes of Brown, Armstrong and McGregor or maybe even a new improved deal for Dembele. We're all panicking about Armstrong's contract but Brown's deal runs out next summer too.}

Listening to a John Kennedy interview on snyde1 supercannyscoreboard. They cut the interview short and then decided to continue telling you what big John said, apparently it was, " it's looking very likely that Paddy Roberts WONT be back next season. " What's your thoughts on this, if any.

The piece I read said nothing different to what we know already.
Kennedy said that Roberts has gone back to Man City and will spend a bit of time deciding his future.
I really hope I'm wrong, but I can't help feeling that if he was going to come back, it would have been sorted before now.
{Ed007's Note - Didn't Roberts only leave Glasgow yesterday? He won't even have reported back to City either, Gerry. The last I heard was that his agent Galip Kilic was due to hold talks with City with the intention of asking City to allow the player to move on, that could be pencilled in when the players are due back for preseason or simply done over a phone call considering Roberts position in the City pecking order.
For me Roberts will report back to City for preseason and then his future will be decided whether that's up here or elsewhere. I think he needs to hear it for himself and straight from the horse's mouth that he isn't in City's plans.}

We really need to stop getting caught up in this Jermain Defoe thing. Over a career spanning 20 years, he’s averaged 10 goals a season. 4 in 30 I think it is for Bournemouth.
Imagine we were signing a 36 year old Premier League player, who’s played next to zero football all season and will no doubt be one of the highest paid players at the club.
