Is what he done any worse than what Rodgers done? I'd take him back.

Dtp87

{Ed007's Note - Ange? Kris Commons? Kenny Miller? Judas?}

1.) 17 Aug 2023 21:07:07
Sorry about not posting that in the proper thread

Walker burley aw ae them! Lol we've set a precedent now.

{Ed007's Note - ????

2.) 17 Aug 2023 21:34:31
Mo Johnston is the Judas I assume Ed?
Probably the biggest betrayal ever to the club.

{Ed007's Note - And all to clear an unpaid tax bill from France that Celtic refused to do for him.}

3.) 17 Aug 2023 21:54:20
Interesting Ed, I never knew that. Probably because I never read anything that had mojo in the content lol. was him signing for rangers maybe the start of the dodgy ebts or something similar lol.

{Ed007's Note - Johnston himself has described why he pulled the plug on the Celtic deal as "personal and tax'', Judas owed tax and wanted Celtic to pay it, Murray agreed to pay it, whether it was paid or how it was paid I don't know but it was said that a percentage of Judas salary went to pay off the "loan" which was from Murray personally or from Rangers "holding company".}

4.) 17 Aug 2023 21:57:14
Who else Leeds? BR?

5.) 17 Aug 2023 22:19:47
I'm not a financial expert but that sounds dodgy as lol.

6.) 17 Aug 2023 22:35:40
Andy Walker, charley Nicholes springs to mind.
Taking the media soup to be our critics on live TV.

I said a couple a weeks ago I think OH will come good but I'm not so sure now. I don't know if it's him or everyone else but he is not involved in the game as much as he should be! What's you guys opinions?

Dtp87

1.) 13 May 2023 17:53:05
Everyone played terribly today, Oh should have scored. He’s a project I think, once he gets going I think he’ll be decent.

2.) 13 May 2023 18:59:20
I don’t rate him at all I said as much a few weeks ago and today did nothing to make me change my mind it only added to it . 7 touches the whole match for a Celtic striker is absolutely shocking.

3.) 13 May 2023 19:51:30
Apart from when he hit the post, (ok should have done better) Oh had no service, 90% of our passing was backward. every short corner we take ends up back with Hart! In hindsight this is a wake up, if we need to lose some of our “ top players” in the summer to progress, then so be it. I mentioned after our European exploits that possibility this squad had reached its limit. I expect criticism for this, but I think it has. It’s not just about today, shocking as it was, but our performances of late have regressed since our” high press “ days of overwhelming the opposition and winning a treble ( nice as it is) won’t take us up a level given our opponents in Scotland. Despite our results against them, they have dominated us far too easily on too many occasions. Don’t want to sound like we’re entitled, but if revamping the team is what’s needed to take us forward then so be it. Our passing today would need to come up three levels just to be rubbish, and not one player would get pass marks. There are no excuses, that line up should have put in a better performance, so even if this is just a bad day at the office, we need to be hopefully planning our recruitment for nextyear. I know we probably are, just venting after a really poor showing.
Always remember Dalglish statement, “ show me a good loser, I’ll show you a loser “ Sorry, did I mention our potential treble? ?.

{Ed007's Note - Aw ffs, Chas! you were doing so well there until you quoted the (always remember) ex-Rangers super scout.}

4.) 13 May 2023 19:54:34
Decent isn't good enough mate. He needs time though.

5.) 13 May 2023 20:35:11
Like a said Ed, just venting ?.

{Ed007's Note - Aye but there's no need to go SO low ?

6.) 13 May 2023 20:40:26
I wasn't expecting Oh to hit the ground running I think he'll come good next season when he's had more time to develop and gets a pre season with the team same as Bernabei. The only ones with pass marks today was Ralston and Starfelt although he didn't cover himself in glory with their 3rd goal. We gave up the middle of the park don't think there was a single tackle from the starting midfield 3. Every through ball was overhit, We couldn't string 2 passes together and none of them could control their bladder let alone the ball. The boys need to show more dig than that in the UCL. It was a dead rubber so good luck to them, let's just hope we can wrap up the remaining games and get the points record still. HH.

{Ed007's Note - ???

7.) 13 May 2023 21:20:40
Bit grumpy Ed, so assuming you weren’t happy about today either? ??.

{Ed007's Note - I was OK until you brought Dalgleish up lol And I'm never grumpy.}

Is maeda good enough? If Johnstone put in the same performances as maeda week in week out he'd be getting slaughtered. Both hav feet too fast for their brains.

Dtp87

1.) 16 Sep 2022 19:35:40
You should be embarrassed. Maeda is fulfilling a totally different role. He is there to press and run.

2.) 16 Sep 2022 19:52:53
I think Maeda is being harshly judged as a misfiring striker, when he should be getting credit for other aspects, he brings consistently. Granted he has missed some good chances, but all our attacking players have missed their fair share at one time or another: but when you look at the bigger picture, it has to be said - the football is fantastic at times, and we have as strong a squad as we've had in years. Plus, with the five subs situation, there's plenty of opportunity to shake things up and re-think tactics and personnel.

3.) 16 Sep 2022 20:01:07
i'm not (embarrassed) . Personally I want my attacking players to score goals not run about like a headless chickens but hey that's just me.

4.) 16 Sep 2022 20:34:34
Why can’t some people not see what Maeda brings to the team……He’s a tremendous asset.

5.) 16 Sep 2022 21:12:53
To be fair Dt madeza has missed some great chances l agree but so has most of the team. If you look at stats buzz put up above it tell you all u need to know. All our forwards have struggled at this level.

6.) 16 Sep 2022 23:49:54
Yes he is a good asset at pressing and keeping fb's under pressure and we needed that last season when we weren't good enough. NOW? We don't need anyone to press like that as much, as we press as a team. I'm glad we have him but he needs to improve other aspects and I think it'll come.

7.) 17 Sep 2022 09:28:35
He is a very good player if he wasn't he wouldn't get in the positions he does to get the chances he does. He also has made numerous assists. To criticise him or any of our team just now is nonsense. They are still a young team who have been together for less than a season. They will only become hungrier and better.

14 Sep 2022 19:45:29
I'd love to see mooy, Abada and GG start in our next European game. Too many passengers tonight and in my opinion and we're far too easily shook when someone scores against us!

Hate to say it my heart sank when I seen maeda coming on at half time too.

Dtp87

1.) 14 Sep 2022 20:25:29
Maeda was brought on to push muldrk back.

2.) 14 Sep 2022 22:18:14
Correct Patrick which nullified his threat and got control again. We should have won the match but I would have taken a point before the match given what they did to RB.

3.) 14 Sep 2022 22:51:13
Mooy is to slow on the ball, always passing it back or side ways playing it safe. If we where winning then yea get him on 2nd half.

Think we should of easily won today by atleast 3. But and there always seems to be a BUT about celtic we have our chances but can't finish them.

Today I was happy to take a draw before the game, BUT I'm disappointed we couldn't get the win with the chances we had.

I know it's still 1 point, BUT should have been 3 points. It actually feels like a bit of a loss.

BUT their is still positives to take away from it. No team in Europe I don't think could handle us if we can take our chances and defende abit better.

1 error cost us cal and Cameron where both out of position when they scored while trying to get back into their role, we where caught out to a counter. Feel bad for juranovic he couldn't match at pace and was left for dust. And big Joe who has been amazing for us probably should have done better.

4.) 14 Sep 2022 20:46:12
Please explain Patrick?

I love someone who tries but sometimes that just isn't good enough. He's technically poor, infact I'd go as far to say he's worse than (or atleats on par with) Johnstone.

5.) 15 Sep 2022 01:53:17
No offence lads but I think yous are talking through your arse about maeda nullifying muldrk, was just a coincidence he wasn't at the races 2nd half but if you care to explain I'm all ears.

I think that was the worst I've ever seen McGregor and O'Riley play which didn't help the situation. I know some of you will get emotional about that statement but its just my opinion.

6.) 15 Sep 2022 07:50:56
Don't know what some of yous were watching, we had total control of that game bar a 15 min spell in the first half, we created great chances and should have win comfortably, as for mooy being slow and since when did keeping the ball become a bad thing, take it lenny and lambert weren't your cup of tea, win our 2 home games and we won't be far off qualifying.

24 Apr 2022 16:41:24
Hope we get both but if you had to pick one Jota or Vickers?

Dtp87

{Ed007's Note - CCV for me, I think it's important to keep a continuity in the defence and with the lure - and money - of CL we could perhaps push the boat out on a "marquis" signing to replace Jota.}

1.) 24 Apr 2022 16:57:56
CCV for me tae Ed and the butler agrees. ?.

{Ed007's Note - ??

2.) 24 Apr 2022 17:19:18
Agree, Vickers think we're definitely more vulnerable defensively without CCV than we are dangerous without Jota. What a game today tho.

{Ed007's Note - ?

3.) 24 Apr 2022 17:46:23
CCV
☘️ ? ☘️.

4.) 24 Apr 2022 18:15:16
CCV all day long HH.

5.) 24 Apr 2022 18:40:33
CCV has not only been a rock with an amazing display of consistently solid performances, but I do believe Starfelt and Taylor play all the better with his presence and leadership along the back line and I appreciate Joe Hart has also given us his great experience. Jota would be a bonus, but CCV is a must-have for future success.

6.) 25 Apr 2022 06:58:11
Alec guineas in murder by death that's a butler jfp1888 check it out mate HH.

I'd like to see him play beside someone, abada or even maeda but doubt I'll ever see 2 upfront with Ange.

3 5 2 all day for me.

I think both decisions were correct. I'm unsure of rules regarding damaging a penalty spot but the pitch has been played on so it's not going to be perfect. The head-to-head challenge was a strong one, but I don't think it was malicious. Great response, though to a very difficult defeat.
