With the Asian Cup taking place next month we won't have a 1st or 2nd choice striker.
IMO, we need two strikers as we should be playing two upfront in practically ever game we play domestically.

There is a lot of anxiety mixed with the excitement of a new manager because of the number of baffling and damaging decisions that were made time after time to get us to this low point.
Everything would suggest a huge shake-up with a top manager; however we have had 12 months of financial hardship and a reputation for over caution and even penny-pinching; so we can only hope the imminent sales of expected departures can compensate? Who knows for sure?

Even if we sell out top assets in the summer for the fees being suggested, the manager won't get anywhere close to half. The reason I say that is due to how deals tend to be structured, i. e. some money up from, with the rest in installments over the coming years.

I reckon we’ll lose around 12 of the current first team squad in the summer. That’s a huge rebuild for any manager, and if we’re waiting on McKay to come to appoint a DoF, before we appoint a manger, we can kiss goodbye to the CL and perhaps congratulate them on two in a row.
Then consider that we are unlikely to get the real value of Eddie and Ajer, so there’s less money from transfers to bring in 12 good players. The club needs to grow a pair and take on debt to get us back where we want to be.
Think we also need Desmond to take charge and appoint someone ahead of McKay.

Welsh is usually reliable when he's called upon, although he rarely gets a run in the side. However, alongside Scales today they were bullied and stretched all over the place and looked very uncomfortable. The full backs were also caught out by long balls, by a 'basketball' size team, fielded to do exactly what they did and it was fortunate our forward play was so good to compensate for the lack of tackles in midfield and defensive weaknesses that were exploited. Bernardo was an empty jersey, although MOR and Tomoki were certainly not at their best either.
Most teams fancy their chances these days and because we are conceding, it means we have to score 3-4 goals a game and although we should have had plenty today, we need to tighten up asap.

If CalMac and/ or CCV are out for the remainder then we're going to seriously struggle in the remaining games.
Today showed how bad our defence can be against the worst team in the league, with £67M in the bank, the sale of Abada, the possible sale of Frimpong could net us £10M+ and if offers comes in, we'll sell MOR, by my estimates that couuld swell our bank balance to over £100M.
We could literally buy a new starting 11 and to be honest that's what I think we need to do, but no projects or punts, tried and tested professionals,
Our first team, let alone our first team squad, is not fit for purpose (I'm trying to be kind here) and the vast majority need to go.
This summer will make for interesting viewing.

Celtic have had a bitter and slanted relationship with the SFA since before Sir Robert Kelly's successful struggle regarding flying the flag of Eire above Celtic Park. Their past president Jim Farry has also been culpable of biased and serious misconduct against Celtic and his predecessor Ernie Walker was also a notorious adversary.
Back in 2012 referee Dougie MacDonald lied to Neil Lennon about a wrong decision during a match at Tannadyce, where the referee and the head of referees Hugh Dallas tried to bully the linesman into covering up their cheating. That linesman (Steven Craven) chose to resign instead. Dallas was himself an exposed bigot when sectarian text messages were revealed some years ago.
We also have a conveyor belt of officials who have connections, not only to Sevco in some shape or form but have also been members of The Orange Order. I am sure fellow posters have other examples.
Remarkably, Celtic have had senior executive members on the SFA for as long as I can remember - but either by choice or signing secret agreements, they choose to bend over and take it and that is the biggest betrayal of all. Another reason why big changes are needed.
Normally, I would expect our manager and players to have a fiery reaction to this latest episode of injustice and take it onto the field of play with determination and passion. Will it happen?
