I think last night was a good point against a very decent side, we weren’t at our best but have now gone 5 home games unbeaten in Champions League and that’s a good run by anyone’s standards.
How the table ends up is very difficult to call, I suspect we are one win away from top 24, 2 wins away from top 16 and 3 wins away from top 8 (which may still be a stretch) . Young Boys clearly the best opportunity for us to get that win, but if we play to our ability we can get something in Zagreb and Birmingham.
I’m starting to look at who’s behind us and their remaining fixtures. Ultimately we need to finish above 12 teams to proceed. YoungBoys and Bratislava have no chance. Leipzig need to win their last 3 and hope it’s enough, I’m going to say it’s not happening. Bologna’s fixtures are tough, I don’t think they’ll do it, ditto SpartaPrague, Girona and Shaktar. I don’t think Sturm Graz, Salzburg or Red Star will do enough.
That’s 10 teams, leaving us 26th. Looking at the teams around us, Real and PSG you’d imagine will be fine. I also think Stuttgart despite their capitulation yesterday can probably win their last 3. I reckon that leaves ourselves, Feyenoord, Brugge, Zagreb and PSV fighting for the last 2 spots.
I’m going to say we’ll get another 4 points and finish in 21st place – let's see how this ages end of January!

The super computer predicts us to finish 20th, real Madrid to finish 24th and PSG to miss out.

Celtic have only lost One CL home game from our last 7 played and that was in injury time to Lazio.
According to the supercomputer,
Celtic were the most fortunate from all 36 clubs with our fixtures and PSG were the least fortunate, hence why the French club are struggling.

I agree our pot 1 and 2 picks were very kind, but Villa away from pot 4 is a shocker.
