We were definitely well below par in certain areas and Kilmarnock as expected were well up for the game and gave everything they had. Taking into account, the pitch. the post-CL reaction and how Kilmarnock played, it was a fantastic result and great 3 points.
There was some very good defending when we couldn't find our rhythm due to misplaced passes and bad touches and Kasper Schmeichel made important saves as well. A hard fought victory for the champions.

It's all down to that awful pitch. We cannot play fluent football on it.

It definitely gives them an advantage but in 2 years it will be gone and then they will struggle against fast paced football.

McInnes's one dimension football will not be as difficult to play against or through.

We, over the last week have demonstrated different parts of our American, we can win ugly, which will make us very difficult to beat this season.
