Anybody know the ECL rules for the number of Scottish players? Surely we’re struggling there, because I think it’s 8.

Could we see a few last minute Scottish surprises?

{Ed007's Note - There are no rules as such, you need to name a List A 25 man squad and 8 of them need to be homegrown - we have McGregor, Ralston, Welsh, Forrest, Taylor, Bain already and you can use youth players - if you only have 7 homegrown players you are only allowed to name a 24 man List A squad, 6 it's down to 23 etc...

Cheers Ed. Might that explain or have something to do with McCowan? Not sure BR has identified a youth player he can trust at an ECL level just yet.

{Ed007's Note - The youth player is only listed on the 25 man A List to make the quota. Last season our CL squad both A & B lists included these Scottish players:

Scott Bain, Joe Morrison, Greg Taylor, Adam Montgomery, Anthony Ralston, Stephen Welsh, Mitchell Frame, Callum McGregor, Daniel Kelly, James Forrest and you can throw Rocco Vata and Mikey Johnston in as homegrown.}
