The story about a 10 million bid for Hatate seems like a complete fabrication.
The reason I say that is a result of the report. In the report it said an unnamed club has bid 10 million. This raises suspicion in me, why an unnamed club? The reason is that the story cannot be verified now.
This leads to another question, where did this story originate and who gains from the story? In my view only 2 parties would gain, either Celtic or Hatate and his agent.
The later may gain by drumming up interest in the player, which may then lead to a concrete bid. Celtic gain by later claiming that we fended off interest in the player and we are keeping the squad together.

Or the third and probably most obvious, our friendly media trying to unsettle one of our players.

So let me get this right. We are to believe all the stories about Celtic bidding for players but when It comes to bids for our players it's all fabricated nonsense. Is that right?

Surely you're not suggesting the media in our unbiased country would try and unsettle one of our players or club in the week leading up to a derby MP? ?.
