I seem to remember when Jota arrived the commentators were happy to accept he was a tricky wee player, but expressed doubts about whether he could deliver that final ball, beat his man, finish the move. We've had some decent wingers of that description in recent times; Roberts, for instance, also a fan-favorite. Many of us wanted to keep Roberts, too, and it didn't work out.

Well, Jota got to the lota. A Celtic team needs the sort of flair he brings in spades. Sure, there are more vital roles in the starting 11. But Jota--along with Maeda and Kyogo and GG &c--give the team its identity and character. That's who the opposite will be dreading coming up against. I'm thrilled he's signed up and can't wait to see what he's brought back from his holidays.
