With the rumours that team Souza can't reach an agreement with Fenerbache some think he is on his way to Celtic.

Souza made his feelings clear that Celtic (and others) would be his second (or third) choice. Now that his Fenerbache deal looks dead in the water are we happy for him to now be looking at Plan B? I have lost count of the times our posters have said that Sensei Angelos only wants people to play for Celtic who are sold on the idea or don't need convincing. Does Souza fill those criteria? No and no.

Pesonally I don't care if we are 5th or 6th choice. Only, can the lad do a job in moving us forward and march onto success after success after success? Fenerbache wasn't his first choice anyway - Liverpool, Real, PSG etc were well ahead of Fenerbache - it's just he wasn't THEIR first choice!

I hope he signs as he is a star on youtube, although Brazilians who perform well on the interweb still give me the fear!

Exactly who has said Souza has no interest coming to Celtic? All this nonsense comes from these claickbait sights and some people take this as Gospel. I’ve never seen Souza nor have I watched him on YouTube but I have full trust in the manager and his targets. If Souza comes great. If not we move on but please try not to take much notice of these sights claiming the player doesn’t want to come to Scotland as there are never any direct quotes, just reporters desperate for people to read their stories.

ie. Can be huffy and upset squad dynamics. spit the dummy?

Every player will have a first second third choice and unfortunately we might not be it, it's like asking a prospect who he'd like to play for and answers celtic but ends up at St mirren, can't blame any player for being ambitious, plus they have no affinity with our club, although that usually changes when they come.

Ice Man - correct - I have not heard any direct quote about him not wanting to come to Celtic. I have heard plenty though say that Fenerbache is his first choice to play football. ANY club after that is damage limitation on his part though.

Bestybhoy - I can't calm down - with all the rumours and speculation I'm like a junkie just before the needle goes in. All this speculation (true or otherwise) is what helps make football a buzz. Better to be linked and fail than not to be linked at all. I feel great times ahead Besty'. My man in Greggs is the only source I pay attention to by the way - and he says no!

Brian - not sure I know much about huffy Brazilians although PSG's " le petite merde" two point O is a great example.

I’ve seen the same quotes Stubbsie but these quotes are from Turkish reporters. None of these quotes have come from the player, his agent or his club therefore I take them all with a pinch of salt. I’d be saying the same if the Scottish media were to say his preference was to come to Celtic. Souza May end up at Celtic and he may not but none of these reporters have the first clue as to what’s going on.
