Morning All

During my lunch break at work me and my Tim workmate were reflecting on Celtics season but particularly Ange our manager and what he personally has done and achieved.

He came as an unknown manager to Celtic with not a lot on his CV. Let's be honest many of us said Ange Who? . What's the board playing at?

He came to a club in turmoil and so far has made significant inroads into turning things around in a short period of time and has won league and cup double in his first season.

He came to the UK from across the other side of the world without his family and spent a long period in London in isolation due to C.V. rules at that time.
He appears to be very much a family man and there's no doubt he would have missed them.

His family are now here with him and no doubt this has helped him become more settled which can only be a good thing for him and Celtic as a whole.

He has managed team without any of his own backroom team / coaches etc. How many manager's do that or have done that? . I would say not very many.

To me this a very determined individual who believes in his own abilities and appears humble in all he does and says.

He has brought players in who again let's be honest many of us said Kyogo who? Daizan Who? GG who? .

He has made many of us and the media eat our own words

I genuinely believe there is so much more to come.

There will be ups and downs, good days and bad.
However if we all stick together through these times we will win leagues and trophies under Ange.

We need to give the board credit for appointing him and hopefully will support him alongside the business model.

In time there maybe a new DoF and this can only be a good thing to work in partnership with Ange. There may well be more appointments in coaching side which will benefit team.

We need to give Mark Lawwell time to identify players that Ange wants and needs.
Let's judge his appointment after a few seasons.
Give the guy a chance just exactly like we have Ange.

Hail Hail ?.

I stopped reading at "came as an unknown manager and not a lot on his cv". Maybe we in the UK goldfish bowl didn't know him but seems fairly known throughout the world by top names in the game. His managerial CV includes a world Cup and league titles. much much more than Rodgers, O'Neil, Slippy, and numerous others. Just pointing this out.

Ok but still think you are doing the guy a wee bit of a disservice by saying he was practically unheard of and without any CV and staying in a fancy hotel in London for 2 weeks (when he has already took his country to a world Cup, probably instrumental in choosing a base for the tournament then moving to J league, probably without his family initially) was a huge hurdle to overcome. I get your post and am extremely grateful in what he's achieved. but in hindsight and now knowing his background, the move should not have been a difficult one and the board/ previous regime have pulled an absolute blinder. Li g may it continue.

With respect you appear not to have read full post or misunderstood it's contents.

My post is 100% positive about manager and in no way whatsoever disrespectful.

Can you please point out to me at what part in my post I stated he stayed in a "fancy hotel in London"?
